do you still have the part? bring it to a cellphone repairman. he might be able to repair the keypad. frequently, it's just a matter of keypad rubber displacement. it can be easily re-sit. i do it all the time with mine.

it's costly and it's not necessary. it also means more profit to some parties. and if you ask me, it should be declared illegal, because it renders the plate number difficult or impossible to read under certain conditions. but perhaps that is the real reason why some motorists do want it...
and if you really desperately want your number plate steal-resistant, use hi-tech special bolts, or a metal chain, or a hefty amount of superglue.. heh heh.

Plate cover is optional. Why not ask your SA to give it for free or a big discount perhaps.

I always get it for free as part of the deal. My altis and innova have the plate covers for aesthetic purposes. Have never thought about theft prevention because these can be easily removed as well.

In my own personal experience, best locally available is the Microtex Glaz Stainz Out and Stain Guard, no harsh chemical, no need to wear protective rubber gloves, very easy to apply and wipe off, protects your glass for months, rain repellant. Available in Blade stores.

The Mircotex Glaz Stainz Out when applied, it will dries into white film, removal of the white film will lift off dirt and watermarks easily. No need to break your arms doing hard rubbing when you use those other brands.

I have the Elevo product and I have them thrown to the bin, not safe to use. You'll need a lot of protective gloves and might damage your paint, because it is acid.

The sad thing is, wala na ang mga pinipindut, only the car key and housing. Im thinking kung magpa install
na lang ng bago from car accessory shops kasi ang mahal ng replacement/pa revive sa Toyota. Replacement keys range from P9-12K change housing is P2100 tapos may programming fee pa while Taiwan made alarm with keyless entry ranges from P2-5K.

    2. Maybe you did not follow the rules about conduction stickers. Maybe you thought if you do not have a plate number you can drive without restrictions. Condution stickers follow the same rule as regular plates. The last digit determines what day you are prohibited.

If you did not do #1 or #2, video the apprehending officer and tell him to explain your violation.
Then go to his boss or the MMDA office to fight for your case.
    This is the latest memorandum.

    Separate Memo about...

    CONDUCTION STICKERS

All unregistered motor vehicles shall only be authorized to travel through the use of the Conduction Stickers, which should be prominently displayed on the right front windshield of each vehicle,

The Conduction Sticker attached to a motor vehicle shall be valid until the vehicle is sold and delivered to the end-user who must apply for vehicle registration within 7 (seven) days from date of delivery.

Only authorized and accredited driver of the manufacturer, assembler, importer, or dealer concerned is authorized to operate a vehicle travelling under the authority of the Conduction Sticker.

The accredited driver should always carry the original Authority to Operate prescribed by the LTO whenever he or she travels under the authority of the Conduction Stickers.

    'Eto naman for...

    COMMEMORATIVE PLATES

The commemorative plate shall not be superimposed over the regular plate. It shall be installed in front of a motor vehicle either at the right side or left side of the regular plate. As such the regular plate shall be maintained in the space provided for the purpose. Removal thereof shall be deemed as a violation. (based on LTO's A.O. AOL-2010-021)

Placing the commemorative plate at the rear of a motor vehicle shall be strictly prohibited and penalized accordingly.

The commemorative sticker should be pasted in the upper right hand corner of the front windshield. However, the regular validating windshield sticker shall be pasted at the left upper side of the front windshield.

The issuance of commemorative plates/stickers shall be limited to the observance and/or commemoration of events which have: national significance certified by the department/agency concerned; historical significance certified by the National Historical Institute, and; international significance certified by the Department of Foreign Affairs.

Any group, organization or association of Government Agency/Organization and Non-Government Organizations (NGO) may apply for the authority to use commemorative plates/stickers.

It shall be issued and used with prior written approval of the Secretary of the DOTC, upon recommendation of the Assistant Secretary of the LTO.

The display period for any commemorative plate shall be one (1) year from the month following its approval by the DOTC Secretary.

i was once looking around in the accessories corner of the casa. there were two remote kits. i was told, one model offers you re-orders of the remote, while the other, you're stuck with what comes out of the box. why not drop by and find out if you can buy replacements..
if you can not re-order, mebbe you will just have to replace your remote kit.. it's not that expensive.. 100 USD or so..

Pero, obviously, magagaling ang mga magnanakaw sa ganyang mga tirada (diskarte nila iyan, i.e.,- that is their trade),- so, it does not make much of a difference with them....

Kung ako ang magnanakaw..mas priority ko na syempre ung less hassle. ex. 2 standard screws vs 6screws(deflector brand - 4 small philips screws for every corner + 2 allen screws)?
