May kaunting tanong po sana for my 2009 innova gas.

1. may naka experience naba sainyo na parang nag engage yun abs or parang may nag metal to metal contact pag nag preno habang nag full turn sa right side? Wala naman sya problema sa ibang sitwasyon bukod lng dyan. napansin ko lang sya non nagpalit ako pang ilalim kasama na wheel bearing. orig naman lahat at maayos gawa.

Makapal pa mga pads. Hindi wrap yun rotor.

2. May nagpalit naba sainyo ng gulong to 205 70 r15? Kumusta naman po?

3. May nakapag palinis na sainyo ng intake manifold at ano po naging improvent?

2009 Innova Gas owner here.

1. nope. never experienced it. baka may misalignment lang sa pagkakabit.

2. 2nd time ko na to have 205/70/15 installed. first time was in 2015 or 2016. installed Yokohama Geolandar G046. second time was last december 2020. installed Thunderer R402. Ride is better. parang mas stable. di ko masyado ramdam lubak na ma transfer sa steering wheel. maybe because of the higher air volume.

comparing yokohama and thunderer, parang mas maingay ng konti ang thunderer vs yokohama pag nasa expressway. might be due to the thread pattern or dahil 8ply na si thunderer.

3. kung yung servo ibig mo sabihin, nagawa ko na twice. not advisable to have it cleaned unless it is acting up. sensitive daw yan. clean only when necessary. twice nag erratic idling ako. up and down yun rpm ko from 2000 down to 800 while running. diniretso ko kaagad sa casa/mechanic.

I had my wheel aligned last week but the mechanic told me to replaced the ball joint and rack end before they can have it aligned.

it's standard policy, naman.
if you have it aligned, using the old ball joint and rack end, the alignment may not be faithful, because there is significant play.
when you replace that ball joint and rack end in the near future, you will have to spend again on alignment.
but i'm sure you already know this.
heh heh.

after 140K km, my innova ball joint is already starting to sound off...
i am continually amazed at this vehicle... for its seeming bulletproof-ness...

Yes this is the first time that I have to replaced my upper ball joint the mechanic told me that it should not have significant play but it moves a little thats why need to have it replaced.

yessir masasayang alignment kasi mabilis luluwag yun hinigpitan during alignment
btw bro, kung pwede mo isabay yun ibang suspension parts mas maigi kasi baka yun iba affected narin nun sirang parts

Based on the mechanic evaluation the upper ball joint together with rack end need to be replaced he did not mention other parts like tie end rod, suspension etc.....

ask mo lang if may konting play na, pag matigas pa naman na parang bago pwede naman skip. madalas lang kasi pag may bumigay na 1 or 2 parts, sunod na yun iba

after 140K km,
i'm due for underchassis change, soon.
nagpaparinig na.
whether or not i will limit my replacement to the noisy ones, or go-for-broke on everything, will depend on the price.
does anyone have an idea on "the price" ?
