    Same here. I thought that silver metallic box which is the fuel injection controller, is an ECU of the Innova D4D.

    Mga master need help lang po about my 2011 Innova Diesel. Nag linis ako ng throttle Body then napansin ko hindi naka fully closed yung throttle plate. Ang alam ko po dapat fully closed sya kapag patay ang makina. Normal lang po ba ito ? May naka experience na ba sa inyo maglinis nito? Ano po position ng throttle plate pag bukas nyo? Salamat po!

    Remove the negative terminal if you really want to check..

    Hindi po throttle yan.. anti shudder valve po yan ng diesel engine.. pag umaandar ka fully open yan then mag close when you turn off.. para hindi masyado yumanig makina

    Na try ko na tanggalin negative terminal ng battery, walang nangyari ganun pa rin.

    Sumasara yan pag turn off mo engine.. bubukas ulit yan pag start mo at stay open yan while running..

    he removed the negative battery terminal and it didnt' close.... interesting or sira? lol

    I think that valve closes for a few seconds when you switch off the engine and once off, opens up again (spring-loaded).

    During engine operation, it works in conjunction with the EGR valve to control the ratio of air vs exhaust gas intake.
