Check mo yung grounding nung socket kung buhay. Maraming mga weird na nangyayari sa dual-filament bulbs (BAY15D or 1157) kapag putol yung ground.

just for the heck of it... this is what i would do, if i were in your place, because it costs nothing to do it.

remove the housing, un-screw the bulb holder, and remove the bulb.
check if the bulb is ok, that both filaments are ok. clean the bulb's metal base and contacts. clean the bulb holder's contacts as well. then re-install. make sure you install it correctly.
before you re-install everything else, check the bulb's functions, to see if ok na. if still not ok, put everything back anyway. then "call the experts or go to their shop".

if the bulb on the other side was moved as well, do the same.

yes, those double filaments do wondrous things, when a filament/contact doesn't work fine.

while the owner's manual does give instructions on how to remove the light assembly, in truth it is difficult the first time. the DIY-er may get the feeling that something is going to brake. but it won't. and it gets easier, with practice.

...i would also check the fuses, justin. and the brake light actuator switch.

    good luck, DIY-er.

Can anyone help me identify the part no. and/or description of the following retainer/clip pictured below?

The passenger side retainer broke after I've had a techie work on the audio system a couple of years ago. But quite recently, I noticed that it was gone. I think it probably got sucked off when I had the car vacuumed.

It's slightly smaller than a toothpaste cap.

Driver side footwell trim, with the retainer still attached

Passenger side footwell trim, with the missing retainer

I've been searching the web for it but I just can't find it. Last resort is to call Toyota.

Mga bossing, yung Innova ko is 2008 model. Gusto ko sanang mag install ng LED headlights. Anong recommendations nyo on the brand at kailangan po nang magpalit to projector type? H4 po ba yung bulb natin? Bawal po ba yung Led headlight?

    just looking at the pictures,
my guess is, it helps keep the plastic panel under it, in place. also, it's a protective cover, to protect the occupants from the harder metal piece it is covering.

Thank you, but I already know what it is and what it is for. I am asking for a part no. or an OEM designation or description (from a shop or repair manual) so I can look it up.

    Drier - 700
    Gasoline 150 for flushing daw
    Condenser - 5,600
    Oring
    Nitro flushing
    Total: more or less 31k

Medjo malaki po talaga. Hehe.

Thanks.
