I was wondering why did not Toyota equipthe Hilux with airbags and ABS. sayang naman ang ganda ng lahat pero hindi safe.

The Hilux has ABS (at least with the newer ones, im not sure with the launch models)

and regarding the airbags...

saan makakabili ng bed extender for the Hilux? meron sa casa, pero 14k ang price nila.. baka mas mura pa sa ibang shops.

i have a hilux e. i have a friend whos selling me his concept one 17". his rubber is dunlop 215 60 r17. bagay kaya?

mali yata ung rubber size... pang kotse or small suv lang ata ito....

205/70 R15 6JJ x 15" alloy ang stock wheels & tires ng Hilux E mo, right? yan ang nakalagay sa website ng toyota phillipines for the Hilux E.

15" alloy stock wheels yeah. but i changed them to 225/70 r15.

the original rubber tires look small for the truck, i changed them now they look just normal. not big, but just normal enough.

now im thinking if 215/60 r17 would fit. or kung bagay. kasi the tires would be smaller na even if the rims are bigger.

I went to a local Toyota dealer here in Cagayan de Oro and was supprised to see the new price for the Hilux 4x4 a/t at 1,415,000.00 (from 1,405,000.00).

They said it will come with dual airbags. Unfortunately, they haven't received the brochure with the new specs.

Anyone else heard anything about the silent change of pricing/features?

when i got my Hilux 4x4 A/T a month ago, it was already covered by the silent price increase. yup it already comes with dual airbags.

i have 16x8 american racing mags & 275/70/16 bridgestone dueler all-terrain tires on my black 4x4 hilux g a/t.

in my case, sinabi sa akin ng sales agent ko na meron price increase nung time na inaayos na yung paperworks & my unit was already at the casa since i had to wait 2 weeks for a black hilux, nahihiya pa nga sabihin sa akin... akala niya siguro baka mag complain ako with the 10k price increase.

btw, can we have this thread merged with the New Toyota Hilux Owners thread?
