*crazy_boy, dito po kame nag papa diesel sa may caltex JP Rizal Ave. Makati. I think what you just informed me makes sense since recently lang po sila nagkaroon nang renovation.

Thanks guys for shedding some light to my concern.

To clear the code that detected the contamination.

Hi guys, newbie hiace owner here. One quick question, has anyone drop their Hiaces? I'm using a fortuner 17mags and I was planning to drop my GL 2 to 3 inches. Any tips on what to adjust? TIA

^id strongly advice against lowering unless the Hiace has a proper set of lowering springs for the front. cutting springs will leave just too much to chance (especially with a front heavy van like the Grandia). even w the stock height, the Fortuner rims on lower profile tyres will look good already

*louieninobla: Sa Banawe sir, madami diyan. Try Goldcars. Or sa Winterpine.
If you get the alarm from the dealership, particularly sa Otis, sa Winterpine yan. Ang ayoko lang sa alarm nila, based on what Toyota installed in my SG, pag nag malfunction ung remote, hindi ko na mapaandar ung vehicle and SG has no override button. There is a process that you have to do with the key para mapa start mo ulit. A very good way to deter carnappers though.

naipasok sir rna800 sa warranty sabi ni esmi. papalitan daw ng casa (toyota dagupan) yung right side front suspension assembly. masyadong maaga nga mag-fail at 40k kms considering mostly ashpalted roads lang naman tinatakbuhan and occasional long drives.

Adjust torsion bar on front. Add lowering block on the rear. Ingat lang kasi sasayad ka ng sasayad.

After six years of reliable service, I have finally rewarded this trusty van a makeover it deserves!

    Six years ago.

    After the makeover.

With new wheels and hankook truck tires.

Black Diamond alloy wheels 6.5" x 16, offset +37 and Hankook LT 215/70 R16, 108/106T load rating (pang grand starex). Total amt. P44T * Giga Mags Evangelista, Pasay.

Pasok pa rin yung tires due to the wheel's high offset (+37), and the light truck Hankook sits perfectly on the 6.5" width wheel.

Same load capacity as the oem 15" tires.

Medyo mahirap din maghanap ng above mentioned tire sizes with the same load capacity as the stock tires. :-)

Yung 215/70R16 na tire size pang Grand Starex yan. Kung gusto nyo ganyan na size always check the load rating. Madalas sa size na yan pang SUV like CRV and Escape. Kaya hanapin niyo yung pang Grand Starex.
Hankook RA08 ans Kumho Portran KC53
