    2012 Vios 1.3J - 8.65 km/L

Pure city driving. Very disappointed with the FC, akala ko matipid 'to. Under the same traffic and driving conditions, our '94 Lancer 1.6 GLXi gets 8.25 km/L.

^Maybe you have a heavy foot? Hehe. It might also be a dirty air filter. Dati grabe din FC ko dahil sa dirty AF. Now, our 2008 Vios' FC is at +-12.5km/L mostly EDSA traffic. Usually nasa 13 before the Christmas rush. 1.3E Manual.

Yes I do. I drove the Vios the same way I drove my Ranger (9 km/L city) and our old Altis 2.0 (7 km/L city). I expected much better FC considering the reputation of the car, but got nothing spectacular.

But even if I drive fast, I rarely go above 2k rpm and with very minimal throttle input, instead relying on momentum to maintain speed.

Last time I drove a 1.3 Vios MT was in the province and I only got 11.5 km/L in provincial highway driving at speeds of 80-100. With the same route I got 9-10 km/L with an '07 CR-V and 12 km/L with an '03 Civic VTi, both AT.

Recently drove the Revo to Angeles, Pampanga. This is it's first out of town trip after replacing the head gasket, and various other repairs to rectify its overheating problem.

Got 10.4km/L using full tank method with average speed of 100-120km/h. I was slightly disappointed with the outcome. My last full tank with pure city driving yielded 8.2km/L. Perhaps it is time to clean or replace that air filter?

That was the worst FC I've ever had. It was purely house-office via C5. This was only a 5 km trip so the engine isn't up to operating temperature yet, and the traffic was really bad as it was Christmas season. The car was also new so break-in FC was understandably poor.

Nowadays I get 8-10 km/L in normal city driving with the Vios. On rare weeks where it's subjected to pure heavy traffic and short trips, I still get over 7 km/L.

^^^ Can't believe people still recommend this. It would be cheaper to change oil more often than run your engine at idle daily for 15 minutes.

Problema ko din yan kasi madalas ang driving ko more or less 1 km. Too far to walk but too short for a car. But I still follow the 5k rule. Casa checked for sludge last year (my car was 4 then) wala naman daw.
