E ermats ko nga nde marunong mag-internet nabalitaan na nya na may problema Fortuner e... Baka Toyota + Diesel is not a good combination... Which may also mean Honda + Diesel is not a good combination...

Kumbaga mga bagito sa Diesel Technology both brands unlike established Diesel engine manufacturers like Isuzu and Mitsubishi & Probably the Germans...

Sana maglabas na sila ng 2nd gen D4D engines for the IMV project para hahaba na ulit pila sa Toyota... hehehehe

IMO, pare-pareho lang yang mga car companies. Sa kabilang forum, gulping-gulpi na ang Honda dahil sa isang Civic with paint problems na sinisi nila sa bird droppings and exhaust smoke. They refuse to replace the car kasi raw "it doesn't impair the car's functionality".
Dito sa Toyota, ang scapegoat naman nila is the diesel in our country. If we follow Honda's reasoning, dapat pala palitan na ng Toyota yang mga defective D4Ds kasi impaired na functionality nila (won't start, hard starting, stalling, etc.) but then, baka defective din yung maipalit.
if we follow both the manufacturer's reasoning, then that'll only mean one thing: we have one hell of a mutated environment

kung refund malabo dito pa sa Pilipinas. usually replacement lang if found defective ang isang product. so in this case, new fortuner. but the problem even new fortuners puwede pa din magkarun ng D4D problem ...

it can happen but it entails going to court. then again, that's a risk in itself. i guess it all depends on one's priorities.

Uy, qualified sa Lemon award yan ah? sabihin nyo lang mga bossing and I'll come up with something similar to the other thread. It's not the whole bunch of fruit in the basket that we're after, it's that little yellow fruit that doesn't belong there which must be singled out. yun lang po

Go ahead bossing!! para alam din namin kung ano pa ang may mga lemon units here sa pinas.. Kasi panay ang tira sa fortuner eh which is good at least others are aware, pero I think meron din ibang units na may problema..By the way, do you have a particular unit na alam na to be considered as lemon?? Update as pre.

Kanina i recieve a call from Mr Sanorias of TQA.
