Bakit sabi ng Toyota Shaw basta daw Shell or Petron mag karga ng diesel wala daw magiging problem sa D4D?

February 18th, 2010 12:47 AM #1975not true. we have 1 unit 2005 innova napalitan namin ang supply pump last year at a cost of 40K. Exclusive petron. 2nd unit 2005 innova only recently recommended by toyota to replace the supply pump. exclusive shell. 3rd unit 2005 innova uses either shell, petron, or in house diesel tank from different sources, but this diesel passes through a fabricated assembly that utilizes a V10 truck engine's fuel filter before it is loaded into our company vehicles, already with 3 ecu resets.

Because the DOT or DTI isn't making them do anything. The US recalls are being pushed by the NHTSA, which has a website where car owners can file complaints about defects in their cars if enough complaints are files an investigation happens and the car companies are made to fix the problem. You have to have a government interested in protecting the consumers and not just pocketing their daily bribe.

February 19th, 2010 01:29 PM #1979I have had Toyota's before and up to now but never diesels. Gusto ko sana kumuha ng hi-ace later this year but after reading everything on this thread, am thinking twice - no thrice. Since I am not a fan of Starex, I am thinking just get a Crosswind. Di bale na luma makina, sohc, 8 valves, etc. Pero mukhang ito ang diesel engine na hiyang sa mga diesel dito sa atin. And most importantly, wala pa akong balita na tumitirik and bilis pa ibenta in the future.
