i think the newly announced civic will arrive on our shores 2017 pa because we're (asian-ph market) a year late on the release...same with the altis...

also consider the ingress-outgress of the altis, for me it is way better compared to mazda 3... and i agree with sir jut... better legroom for the altis... yan din dilemma ko when I want to purchase a car... Altis vs Mazda 3 (sedan) are my final considerations...

it's the M/T(1.6G) + better legroom + better ingress-outgress that made me decide to get the Altis instead...

You went with 18" rims. Am I correct? Malaki ba yung difference in terms of performance/handling kapag nagpalit mula sa 16" rims na stock? Sa ngayon masaya ako na hindi matagtag yung Altis relative dun sa CUV ko. Nag-aalangan lang ako na kapag nagpalit ako eh maging matagtag na siya.

No difference in ride quality. I like how it grips more during hard driving though. And the Achilles 2233 tires definitely have better grip than the Dunlop Enasave tires that came stock with the car. The Altis is still comfier than most CUVs.

Satisfied ba kayo sa 1.6V niyo?

Worth it ba ang 1.6V? Or dapat mag 1.6G nalang kasi baka mag malfunction ang Smart Keyless Entry at Push Engine Start/Stop button?

Para sa akin, yes. I love those features. If the keyless entry does not work simply extract the physical key, it works. It is so convenient for me...

Got my altis last oct 2014 sa alabang. 1.6v. 40k disct free lto. Original disct offer was 30k, with free tint and seat cover... I asked that they waive the seat cover and tint for deeper disct. They agreed to the 40k but when i got my unit the tint was there and seat cover as well.

Marikina also offered me 40k disct last yr, free lto no tint or seat cover. try them also.

Decided on alabang since its nearer

Lucky day today.. Nasabitan ako on my way to work...

Any advise if sa casa na lang or outside? Retouch lang naman pero worry ko baka mahirapan sa color if outside casa... And how many days kaya for this simple paint job? Yung dati ko kasi simple work din lang pero more than a week sa Toyota Makati.

Had something similar happen to mine. Total repair bill was 2.5K at JCB Mindanao Avenue. They repainted half of the bumper. It took them 3 working days. They prefer you leave your bumper there and bring home your car; after 3 days, bring the car back to them to have it re-attached.

Casa quoted me 6k for the same thing.
