June 18th, 2017 08:34 PM #2821Has anyone tried converting his/her 10th gen to an 11th gen look? How much did it cost?
What do you guys think about converting only the front side and retaining the rear side?

Anyway, I thought of doing that but with this set of headlights. I also saw a made-in-Taiwan 11th gen front bumper on OLX.
Total cost: PhP 29,300. Wondering if this is reasonable; and of course, if it's anything but ridiculous
Note: I have no intentions of promoting anything.

No. If you want to upgrade to the 10.5's looks, don't do it halfheartedly.
Change the front bumper, headlights, rims, tail lights, trunk, and all other cosmetic changes that came with the 10.5.
Personally, I think it's too costly to spend on upgrading the 10th gen when its resale value is less than 400k today. Better to sell it and just by a 10.5 gen. You'll spend less that way, plus you get a newer car with a much better engine (Dual VVTi) and all the new features of the 10.5 (mainly just aux and revised gauges).

sell the old, buy a newer. the car will be more reliable, and you won't be too tired. overall, less headaches.
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
