Well, like i said, Toyota Pasig said i'm the second case. So, hopefully maresolve nila yung problem para wala na sa next batches of avanza.

getting 8.5 -9.5km city driving w/ aircon

getting 10 -11km hway driving w/ aircon


Dissappointed din ako sa FC im expecting 12km/L sa city driving. Siguro nga masyasdo mabigat ang body for 1.3Engine


Tinanong ko na rin ito sa casa nun 1st PMS ko ang sabi nila malalaman ang true FC after the 10,000 PMS. Expect daw na ma improve ang FC.

Eto rin pala tip nila for a good breakin
Below 1,000km mileage max speed 80km/hr
Below 5,000km mileage max speed 100km/hr

I brought my car to Toyota Pasig for its 1k check up and the day after that, nagloko yung central lock system. ayaw magunlock ng sa driver's side. kahit from the inside naka unlock. ayaw gumana nung sa susi daw sabi ng driver ko. pinadala ko uli sa Toyota tapos sabi second case na daw nila to. so they made a report to the planta. one month pa daw dadating yung piyesa na kelangan palitan so they just fixed it temporarily. but they'll change the part as soon as it arrives in the dealership daw.

para lang alam nyo din, in case you experience it yourself.

yung samin matigas ang central lock nung pinalagyan ng keyless entry/car alarm
ang hirap lock pag madulas yung kamay

9kms per liter kung highway driving siguro.. yung 1.5G ko kaya nang 12kms/liter.. depende kasi yan sa distance and route and driving style.. kung short distances tapos bumper to bumper traffic.. malabo maka 8kms/liter yan.. yung tipong less than 10 kms tapos more than 1 hour mo tatakbuhin..

to give you an idea.. just a few weeks ago we went to Laiya.. yung full tank ko umabot nang 390kms.. pag dito sa Metro Manila.. 240 to 250kms lang yung full tank ko..

malakas pala fc ng avanza 1.5g.
full tank is 45 liters based on specs. 390km/45= 8.67 km/liter ; 250km/45= 5.56km/liter
butas ang bulsa mo dito.

Make sure your tire pressure is up to recommended level. Lower tire pressure may add to ride comfort but eats up on gas mileage.

di naman sir sagad 45 liters.. said na said na yan baka itirik na ako nyan.. nagpapa gas ako pag umilaw.. usually 36 to 37 liters.. automatic click yun.. hindi puno..

so yung 390km / 37 = 10.54km / liter yung regular ko na 250km pure city yan.. as in short distances, bumper to bumper.. tapos basement parking pa.. 250km / 37 = 6.75km / liter..

1.5G automatic yan ha..

total kms ko to date is 67,442.38kms at 8,532.03 liters so that's 7.90kms / liter average FC.. mga 90% city 10% highway yan...

sir lahat naman nang gas unleaded na.. at lahat may E10.. gamit ko Caltex Silver ever since..

unleaded din yan sir.. higher RON lang.. regular unleaded is RON 93.. RON 95 or 97 yata yan.. same with Caltex Gold and Shell V-Power na 99 RON naman..
