if you are lucky, the car manual might indicate what items are to be checked, replaced, replenished, adjusted, etc, in the 40,000 km check-up.
many of these, i will confess, i have sinned by omission. but one item you must never omit, is the scheduled replacement of the timing belt. (those who have timing chains, or timing gears, are truly blessed..i am not sure what the avanza has.. belt or chain.)
