Hello. We also own 2009 Avanza 1.5G MT. We bought it second hand from a doctor. Nung binili namin yung sasakyan, Meron din kaming napansin na kumukulong ingay sa engine bay pag binubuksan yung aircon. Talagan maingay at yung vibrations umaabot sa loob. Im asking if the unusual sound occurs when you turn on the aircon.

Hi! I am new to this forum and I am a new owner of a car. We recently bought a second hand avanza J 1.3 M/T 2007 at almost 60k na mileage. I changed oil na fully synthetic Mobil 1 5w-50 then change to toyota original spark plugs. My question is, what are the advantages of fully synthetic. Ang next oil change ko ba is yung next 10,000km? How often do i need to replace spark plugs. Thanks. Very new, don't know much about cars.

Hi sir, yung maingay pala sa avanza namin ay yung water pump (due to damaged bearing). Pinapalitan ko na at nawala na ang ingay, ayun tahimik na po uli.

Hindi pa naman po namin na experience yung ganyang noise kapag binuksan ang aircon. Suggestion lang po, dalhin nyo po sa mekaniko pa check nyo baka loose na ang compressor sa kanyang mounting bracket. Or kung hindi, baka yung compressor assy mismo or magnetic clutch ang may problema (damaged internal bearing, damaged seal).

I've also stopped bringing to casa since year #4, and have just been bringing to shell for ordinary PMS (change oil/air filter). Me recommended place ba kayo for servicing (mura and trustworthy).

i look around for promos.
last year and the year before, i had change oil at petron UN, hecho derecho. walang pila kapag maaga, mga 8 am.
they have been doing this promo for some years already..

Give to your neighboring gas station? But why not have it oil change at the gas station Mismo? 200bucks I guess is more than enough for the labor?150 Lang kase dito samin hehehe

My maintenance po is change oil every 5,000kms or 6months which ever comes first whatever kind of oil i use.

Oil is the life blood of our engines. Kahit po fully synthetic na langis dumudumi pa rin po yan. Specially sa climate condition natin po at yun sobrang traffic dito sa atin.

I mostly use 10w30 or 40 grade of oil. Tama lang po ito sa atin. Kung bago pong sasakyan kahit yun 5w30 to 40 mas ok po. Pag medyo 3yrs to 10yrs yun 10w na po. Pag mga 10yrs to 20yrs kahit po yun 20w30 or 40 ok din basta po 5k kms palit lagi

We use it to lubricate a horde of stuffs and rust prevention of metal parts. Sometimes, to keep the ants from certain areas of the compound.

Sometimes, we give them away to our neighbors who use it for the same purpose.
