Had a very interesting experience when i tried to reserve an avanza, went to quezon avenue to inquire if they have stock of avanza automatic 1.5 and salesman said yes and no waiting time. So when i asked for the best price for a cash purchase he went up to his manager and said "pang anim pa po kayo baka next month na magkaroon ng stock." Ha? Talk about no waiting time. I get the feeling that when its cash purchase they do not prioritize your order unlike those with financing.

Mukhang ganun nga sila. It may not be with all sales rep... but it may have something to do with their management. Got an Innova last year from them, partida kilala ko pa yung sales rep,and aware sya that we will be buying in cash. He did mentioned that it may take time to get a Gas A/T unit na G. After 2 weeks, all they can give me is a Silver color G variant. I was after the Gray color of Innova, but wala silang mabigay. Knowing that Innova is locally produced... shouldn't they have the option to ask for the color that the customer needs and not just "bahala na" kung anung ibibigay ng planta? I complained about it when they asked for a survey after our purchase.... Is this how car dealership play nowadays?

Buti nga sir sa car dealership, kakausapin ka pa ng ahente kahit cash... Sa tindahan ng motor, wala papansin sayo kapag nagsabi ka na cash purchase sayo.

Pero depende yan sir sa dealership, kapag napunta ka sa dealership na masyado mataas ang sales, pahirapan bumili ng kapag cash payments, pero kung dun ka sa matumal ang sales, ibibigay sayo lahat ng freebies makabenta lang..

it is common knowledge, they make more money on installment sales than cash sales.
btw, "baka next month" is just 12 days away.
if you really are desperate to get one the soonest, try the other casas. maybe you can get your unit by monday..

Thats what i am planning to do. Try other dealers.

I remember the time when we purchase cash or anything the dealer would entertain you maybe because they have sales quota to achieve, now i guess we have such good economy that a lot of people are buying cars so the dealer will just choose from which customer they can earn more.

Mga sir itatanong ko lang sana if pwede ba umupo ang adult sa third row seat ng avanza hindi ba cramped? Tsaka chain driven din ba ang engine ng avanza?

Not sure if chain driven, medyo cramped for adults, pwede pagtyagaan kung short rides. Second row seats nga good for two pag three abreast medyo masikip na.

akala ko kasi 7 seater sya sir mas prefer ko kasi sya sa innova kasi short length siya hindi ako mahihirapan ipark unlike innova that is too long for tight parking spaces.

Kung ahente ang seller at di mo kilala, wala ka mapapala kakatawad dyan.. Kung owner ang seller at nagmamadali, ang una mong intro ay rady cash buyer ka na at pwede kayo magbayaran anytime.

Got the Innova from a seller na nagtrade in sa Ford ng Everest, kapitan ata ng barko yung may ari at gusto makabili kaagad ng everest kasi taga malayo pa syang province. So ganun, tinawaran ko ng 250k, sabi ng agent ng ford, hangang 270k lang daw, so paid him 270k, give the ford agent 10k and my neighbor agent 20k hehehe...

Wag ka magmadali, basta ready lang pambili mo, makakakuha ka ng bargain .
