hello! its good to be back! just yesterday i had my first 1k check up * tyt bcutan. spent only P770.52 for engine oil/ oil filter replacement and standard inspections done. i availed my P300 certificate included in my freebies, total amt should be P1070.52. asked first your SA what oil is to be used, regular oil lang dapat. when i asked bout how do they do it if they will use flushing chemicals and fuel injector cleaner. no daw. they follow tyt sop in changing oil. tnx fo this thread. learned so much from this.

badtrip, nahuli ako ng pulis.... First question pa naman:ano ibig sabihin ng yellow light? na mental block ako, 2 kasi sila, and me alone lang sa car!! muntik ko na sagutin " sir, go faster?" tsk tsk tsk... kulang sa seminar ata mga pulis na yun ako pa tinanong!!! gulay....

ano kaya final na pressure (psi) for daily city driving and for 1 passenger lang?
mdyo ako eh... nailagay ko sa front 32 psi and 35 sa back. So, do i need to reduce the psi?

The best way is to do the chalk test. Rub chalk on the threads of your tire and drive it on a level solid ground until the chalk leaves a mark on the ground. If your tire only leaves a mark with the middle part of the tire then you are over inflated. The opposite would be true if the tire only leaves a mark with the outside of the threads only, otherwise known as cupping. Once you have found the pressure where your tire leaves a mark with the whole contact patch then you are at the optimum psi for your tire.

Pinasok yung avanza namin sa casa (TYT Shaw) for painting sa mga gasgass. They charge us 2500pitot. 2 days daw gawin.

after the check up, we went to a car shop and bought some car accessories.

step sill plate 2200
mudguard 1700
rain guard (ba yun?) 1900

i don't know if the prices are more expensive than those sold in manila. what do you think, guys? let me know para hindi na ako babalik sa shop na yun. lol

Yahooo! Tumawag yung SA ko kanina, ready for pick up na daw yung Avanza ko tomoro ... Ano pa kaya ang mahirit ko na freebies aside from the 4 items(tint,matting, rust proof at seat cover)?.. Bigyan pa kaya ako kahit nakapag reserve na ko ng 5K??. Yun nga palang sa bank(Pci) natataasan ako sa insurance nila... 18,701 w/o TPL pa yun, and the Chattel M. is 14k !! Pwede ko ba ipilit na sa iba na lang ako kukuha ng insurance as long na accredited nila?.. Sayang din yung mga discounts , pambili din yun ng mga accesories!!! .

oks yan madadagdagan na naman ang kapamilya....i-ready mo na yung checklist mo...para wala kang makalimutan....ako ang nakalimutan ko lang nun yung early warning device pero nakuha ko din ng nagpa 1k check ako.....pag nandun na kasi yung unit mo super excited ang feeling kaya malamang me makalimutan. goodluck and balitaan mo na lang kami sa monday

Sabi ng Friend ko pag dinadala daw yung unit usually galing ito sa ibang TYT branch dinadrive na nila on the way sa location kung saan mo pipickupin yung unit. minsan nga daw tinatanggal nila cable ng metro ng car tapos saka nila ikakabit upon arriving sa location kaya 0 milage pa rin. d ko lang alam kung totoo yun. baka lang nalimutan nilang tanggalin yung cable kaya may milage na

i think normal lang yung mileage.... sama kasi road test yan plus transport
yung umuugong normal din yun... kapag nagpa 1k check up ka na and ang change oil mawawala na yun... baka kasi yan sa motor oil na nilagay for break in.

1. Nag aalarm ba talaga kapag remote ang ginamit ko to unlock the side doors tapos binuksan ko yung likod using key?
2. Ano kaibahan ng dalawang ito sa manual, medyo nahihirapan ako intindihin eh. Sa page 21 (Avanza G)

Stopping the Alarm

• Push the "LOCK" switch: Stops the alarm but the theft deterrent system is still set.
• Push the "UNLOCK" switch: Stops the alarm but the theft deterrent system is canceled.

Ano usually ang press ko kung mag Alarm ang Avanza ko, say accidental?

ako din. i accidentally enabled that alarm system. pero ok narin.
what i do to disable is I turn the engine - namamatay agad alarm.


hindi gumagana ang lock/unlock ng wireless entry device.

I noticed na mukang mas tipid pa ito (1.5L) sa gas kesa sa luma kong
1.3L 1995 Corolla? Siguro kasi bago lang.
