Altis is far from the other choices you must figure out first what kind of vehicle do you need. A sedan or MPV, then if MPV how big? economical? comfort? safe? luxurious? powerful? elegant? simple?
Among other things: automatic or manual; amenities, diesel or gas?

A/T- The Avanza has an available a/t variant
Economical in fuel consumption (gas or diesel- also which fuel is engine friendly) The Avanza has good FC for a 1.5L gasoline
powerful enough to climb baguio but not necessarily terrains and rough roads The Avanza has a decent HP so climbing is not a problem
Safety is a must The Avanza has dual airbags, GOA body and side beams
Decent looking from outside (doesnt look like a taxi) and comfortable inside The Avanza has different colors to choose so that it will not look a taxi, and it has standard rims

if you equate Toyota = Taxi, then a toyota may not be on your list.

at about 850K I think you can get lower/entry level AUV.

This is my Avanza J. I only have a cash budget of 500K almost 3 years ago, but I was able to borrow additional cash. I do not think na mapgkakamalan akong taxi. :D
