Give them a day or two to produce a unit , otherwise cancel your transactions with that dealer and tell them that your switching dealers who has your preferred choice... matataranta yang mga sales people na yan kasi instead na instant sale na nila, mawawala pa. At wag kang magpapadala sa mga promised freebies until andyan na talaga yung unit mo, some sales people promises a lot of freebies just to retain their prospect to wait for the unit.

Tools needed, one philips screw driver, isang flat na wall, masking tape or pencil or marker. park your avanza facing a flat wall then turn on your headlight, mark the topmost edge of the light with a masking tape or pencil or marker, adjust the headlamp angle to desired position. hope this is helpful.

Pag gumamit ng HID sa reflectors, nawawala ang cut-off ng HL. so kahit anong adjustment, nakakasilaw pa rin. I think it ang sinasabi ni xda2jojo.

Now kung mayroong casper shield, possible na bumalik ang cut-off.

hi guys. my avanza j cabin has been smelling gasoline for the past 2 or 3 weeks now. The smell intensifies specially after a full tank. What could be the possible problem?

boss mel and sir jojo, the HID am using is ACDelco with high and low beam, it was bought in Dubai and it already comes with a casper shield with a cone shield in front, when i first installed it i have difficulty seeing people or objects 10 meters (in low beam) infront and to the side if because of the short throw of the beam, i tried removing the casper shield and went for a test drive, the lighting was great you could see far beyond but the problem is i am blinding the incoming vehicles (i noticed this because most of them were flicking their headlight and i could see objects as high as 12 ft up because you could see the top of tall delivery trucks) so i put back the casper shield and went to toyota bacolod to have my headlamp adjusted, now visibility is good and i could now see people or objects to the right or left of my avanza and so far no complaints from incoming vehicles. some car owners using HID's remove their casper shield in purpose to give them a much brighter beam but this action is very irresponsible and dangerous for incoming vehicles. installing HID's with casper shield is not enough, you must adjust the beam to the right angle so that you don't blind incoming vehicles.

Add ko lang sa avanza HL natin ay "Multi-Reflector" eto, kaya I am assuming na basag ang liwanag using HID w/o projector.

With you info/tips...mag HID na ako.

Ilang "K" ang HID mo bos?

got a 2nd thought here, mainit sa LTO ang HID dito
(Actually medyo damay kami dito sa mga convoy of black cars last 2~3months ago dahil sa illegal blinker and wangwang, kaya damay ang fog lamp-HID or not and HL HID)
But i take a chance....

sir jojo, yung original na bulb ng ACDelco ko is 5000k but my uncle had it replaced to a much lower bulb around 3600, the color of the beam is not pure white but with a little bit of yellowish. i think you won't find the ACDelco HID kit in their website kasi HID is not legal sa U.S. sa pagkakaalam ko, i tried looking it up before sa website nila but my uncle told me not for U.S. market talaga yung HID nila pero very popular daw ito sa Dubai. hanapin ko yung box and look for the model number paguwi ko ng bacolod then post ko yung pix or info.

have just purchased here a 260/200 CP halogen lamp. kelangan na lang ng harness, ceramic plug tsaka heavy duty headlight relays.
2 years na namin gamit ang ganito klase na ilaw sa peugeot oto service namin dito at ok naman siya at mas maliwanag.
so testing ko muna ito sa corolla gli ko, pag umubra, kabitan ko rin ang vanzy ni misis

Kawawa head lamp casing and reflector mo dyan sir, plastic ang nakakabit sa avanza natin.
Baka matunaw sa laki ng wattage, kung di man, maging "smoked" labas nyan.

kahapon while driving sa EDSA from Greenhills.. bigla na lang namatay yung radio ko.. parang it lost power.. ayaw nang mag on..

pagdating sa bahay.. hiniram ko yung hikaw ni misis tapos ni press ko yung RESET button.. ayun nabuhay ulit sya..

hmm mukhang common to sa HU nang Avanza G, although first time pa lang nangyari sa akin..
