tumawag ako sa toyota pasig inquiring yung spoiler with third brake light confirm 8k5 nga po sya then I ask regarding sa warranty since sa cubao ko kinuha yung unit ko... pinasa ako nung parts sa warranty officer nila sabi saken na kahit sa kanila ko pakabit yung spoiler e mavovoid yung warranty nung tatamaan nung ikakabit na accessories... tapos po sa pagkaintindi ko po e basta di raw po built in nung nilabas ko sa casa e nakakavoid ng warranty... kahit pa mismo sa casa ko pakabit.... tama po ba to? - tia

Bakit sa toyota balintawak di daw mavovoid. Doon mo nalang pagawa pwede ka naman mag claim kahit saan ng warranty. Yung avanza ko tyt bal pero na claim ko carpet replacement ko sa tyt shaw

Kaso, tapos na ang 1 year.

ganun nga daw sir 1 yr warranty sa accessories pero yung mga tatamaan for example daw and i quote kung masunog daw yung kotse because sa electrical wiring and walang kinalaman sa accessories na kinabit nila e di daw po pwede iclaim sa warranty yun.... kung ganun po pala e kung sa labas ako magpakabit basta merong warranty na included dun sa shop e ok lang... mas makakatipid pa.... pakilinaw naman po

alarm(thunder brand) plus cetral lock...6,000php...di talaga kasama sa locking yung trunk? tsaka pag naka andar na ako di ba dapat mag autolock siya?

fog lamp 5000php ...sayang naman kasi yung butas e..parang G narin ..I'll be back to order rear spoiler with brake light kasi mga 4 days daw pa yun after payment...

Noong nagpakabit ako sa Toyota ortigas ng accessories. Hindi daw ma void ang warranty ng Avanza. Iyon lang nga, iyong ikinabit nila ay 1 yr lang ang warranty.

During that time kasi, takot pa ako na ma void ko ang warranty ng avanza ko. After a year, hindi na ako takot. hehehehe.

Now, mayroong na rin akong engine mod.

new owner po ako ng avanza. my unit 1.3J extreme black was delivered from tyt pasong tamo. stock na stock at ang una ko gusto ipakabit ay alarm with central lock. tyt pasong tamo offerred me 8,500 pero nakita ko sa ibang post dito, me nag offer ng 6k, 7k, etc. ibig sabhn pala, paiba iba rin ang presyo ng mga casa?

tsaka gulat ako ng malamang me coding din conduction stickers? kc dinadala ko to araw araw mula cavite hanggang makati pero wala pa namang naninita. kaso ngaung nabasa ko na meron coding, nag aalangan na ko. totoo ba to?

tsaka ano requirement para mag join sa EB dis december? gusto ko kc pumunta.

Kung worried ka sa warranty ng new avanza mo, puwede naman sa kahit na alin casa magpakabit ng accessories. Iyong lang nga mga 2x to 3x mas mahal sa casa kaysa sa labas.

Nabili ko ang avanza ko sa Toyota Alabang. Nagpakabit ako ng accessories sa Toyota Ortigas. sa Toyota Shaw ako nag papa PMS lately.

just sharing some information for avanza owners.

this morning, my brother in law's avanza was in an accident in barangay bubog, near talisay city (near bacolod city). he was on the highway, running at 70kph. driving conditions were excellent with dry roads and clear weather when the steering just locked up and got stuck. he tried slowing the car using both brakes and hand brakes but he hit the tree on the side of the road. luckily, there were no vehicles in front or beside him and the airbag deployed. the avanza is just three months old and bought brand new. model is J variant

while he was generally unhurt, the avanza's front end was smashed and one tire literally flew off.

tanong ko lang dito sa mga avanza owners if there are reported issues on the steering? we are going to raise this up with toyota bacolod

just sharing some information for avanza owners.

Sir AFAIK, malamagn ang nag cause the steering wheel to lock is related to the ignition key of the car. meron wheel lock iyan pag nakapatay ang makina. baka nag stuck at di na release ng i-istart ang makina. He should really raise this question to toyota on why the teering wheel lock while the vehicle is in motion. delikado ito.
Luckily he was unhurt. At least napatunayan that the air bag works

Kakatakot naman yan na nag stuck up ang SW.
Ano ang initial findings sa nangyari sir?
Pwede siya magfile ng kaso against sa tyt kung sakaling may probs ang SW nito.
Anong exact date nakuha nya ang avanza sir 111prez?
Mag 3months din ang avanza j ko, ok naman eto.

sorry to interrupt guys, may question lang ako kasi I am currently searching for a new car. Avanza is one in my list as well as the hyundai accent. Matanong ko lang kung sa city driving how much km/liter ang avanza? I am taking into consideration the 1.3J na white yung pang taxi model nila. Hindi ko kasi kailangan yung 3rd row seat kasi pang biglaang cargo space lang naman ang purpose ko for considering avaza. May financing din ba ang toyota sa 1.3J na white, base sa website ng toyota same specs lang sila sa ibang colored na 1.3J except for the price of the extra 3rd row seat.

nakakabitan din ba ng power window ang avanza J? medyo pagod na ako mag search kasi ang haba na ng thread niyo. happy motoring.

update lang: after a medical check up at riverside hospital, my brother in law is okay.

the avanza is currently in toyota bacolod already and being diagnosed/checked up by them. we hope to get some news by tomorrow. i hope that their diagnosis will not be "biased"

we are really concerned with this development. while we are glad that the airbags and seatbelts worked and toyota bacolod immediately sent a tow truck to bring the vehicle to their service center, still, a 3 month old car with the steering wheel suddenly locking is really cause for worry. luckily, wala siyang pasahero sa front seat or even the back seat and he was all alone when this incident happened

I think this is very important.
If indeed the Steering Wheel lock up and caused accident.
Could be a total recall eto,
My avanza also a 3month old same sa brod ni 111prez na car.
Nag PMS ako ngayon for 5k, included sa check up ang SW cross-joint.
Tomorrow mag out of town kami ng family ko.
If ever di na ako makapost dito, yon na yon....hehehe.

Side note:
My brod Avanza 07 taxi bought brand new, so far ang major prob lang nya na encounter is:
1.) Nasira ang Shock
2.) Umaalog na Rack end
3.) yesterday down transmission eto dahil sa leak, nasira na ang oil seal
Two times na siya naka-claim ng insurance,
Una binunggo siya ng crosswind(could be the caused sa shock absorber na di nakita during sa pagrestore na car nya),
Binunggo din siya ng car during nag counterflow ang avanza nya sa traffic dahil sa emergency, Sakay nya ang naghingalo na bata dahil nakuryentihan eto.

Less than one year pina void na nya ang warranty
Mas mahal ang PMS sa casa kaysa sa kanyang shop.
Suma total, ok naman ang kanyang avanza kahit tumatakbo eto almost 20/7 since 2007.

Sorry to hear about this. This is a serious concern for the owners of 2009 model of Avanza.
