hi! newbie here, and not even a member of your club, yet. i believe this is the best place to get advice. Am thinking of getting an avanza 1.5 g m/t, have talked to tyta quezon av, balintawak, marikina, mla bay. The best offer i've received is a 40 k discount. Comprehensive insurance is 17,710. Free items ay matting, seatcover, tint, keychain, umbrella, 10 liter gas, rain gutter. Discounted accessories ay roofrail, backup sensor, side mouldings, side mirror cover, at mudguard (yung mudguard feel ko niloloko ako kasi ang alam ko standard yun ngayon sa variant na kukunin ko) at P9,500. I don't know if a complete set of tools and early warning device ay standard but one dealer included these two sa free items. Any comment? Thanks po.

AFAIK, standard nga ang mudguard sa G. Free naman talaga ang tools and EWD. Pampahaba na lang ng listahan siguro. hehe.

Php9,500 lahat iyung roofrail, backup sensor, side m., side mirror cover (and mudguard)? Aba'y mura na iyun. Iyung roofrail kaya ba lagyan ng rack for cargo?

try mo magtanong sa toyota otis, hanapin mo si sonny gregorio. free comprehensive insurance, lto registration, chattel mortgage. free items na din ung matting, seatcover, tint and keychain. ok din sya magservice. try mo lng. wl naman masama. if u can squeeze him more mas maganda.

One way to get the best deal is to get a lot of quotes from different distributors.

Sa G, standard ang mudguard. Standard sa lahat ng cars ang free tools, matting, tint, seat covers and some gas. iyong iba ay nakakakuha ng free EWD. nasa sales rep kung magbibigay ng free umbrella

BTW, sa toyota, free ang labor sa 1K at 5K PMS.

Sa mga non-electrical stuff/upgrades, better get them outside ng casa. mahal kasi sa casa.

This morning may nakasabay ako na blue Vanzie along Edsa just after yung footbridge sa Bagong Barrio (moving towards Monumento Circle).

Am sure member ng club kasi meron siya sticker sa likod pero black and white at magkasama yung tsikot at avanza sa iisang sticker.....ang plate no is ZKK79X....sus sa excitement binusinahan ko pero I don't think napansin ako.....

Beep beep beep.... before pag may nakakasabay ako na avanza I do one of the following:

a. inoovertake (carefully and only when both lanes are clear) ko tapos pag nasa harap na ako, even if it's not raining, I turn on my rear wiper....parang wave and makita yung sticker....
b. binababaan ko ng window then SMILE
c. honk 3 times (even for those without Avanza sticker)

napagalitan lang ako ng mga boys ko sabi baka mali ang pickup ng driver at hamunin ako ng away so I don't do it anymore

*xmb: mahirap talaga kung makahanap kung yung tatlong discount sa mga casa. 1st, malaking amount kasi yung gusto mong discount (lto, comprehensive insurance, chattel morgage). 2nd normally isa lang sa kanila yung ibibigay nila free. and 3rd, in demand ngayon ang avanza dahil economical car/auv sya and saksakan ng mahal pa rin ng gas. sigh. although it's just me, baka makuha sa bargaining and maboteng usapan sa SA's yan.

good morning to all

Last Tuesday evening on my way up to Baguio via kennon, I purposely tailed a white Avanza 1.3J (Z--**7) for performance observation. These were observed:
1. Maraming nalampasan. Pati mga 4x4. Hindi pala marami. Nilampsan lahat!
2. The Avanza was fully closed (windows) all the way and heavily tinted. So, i presumed na ka aircon siya. I am not sure kung maraming sakay.
3. The driver doesn't use the brake during uphill turns. Timing lang ang mga bwelo. Swabe ang handling. I believe the driver is "good". Sanay sa akyatan. Parang ako? ......nakasunod ako all the way eh......hehehe
[SIZE=3]4. BOTTOMLINE: Kayang kaya talaga ng Avanza ang kennon. To all those who are planning to break in their Avanza papuntang Baguio, I hope this will give you some confidence. Goodluck![/SIZE]
