naku... dko nakuhanan ng picture nung time na nagkatama eh... wala kc camera cp ko........ lahat naman daw ng paint nila for finishing... spray pa nila ng clear coat....

White kasi ang avanza mo kaya medyo madali lang timplahin eh, may metallic effect din ba ang paint ng white na avanza tulad ng champagne, blue, silver at red mica? o pure white lang talaga?

Hi guys ! just want to ask what is the Best engine oil for a 1.3J Avanza unit
and why? I still have doubts using fully synthetic oil though it performs well on my vehicle but very costly if you are to change oil every 5000kms.

appreciate if you can provide suggestions for a semi synthetic oil.

d sya pure white bro..... nung una nga paint nila... hindi nakuha ang kulay... nahirapan din sila... kaya kuha ko color code combination sa casa..

Fully Synthetic oil is design for total protection to your vehicle. as you said its very costly because of it has a total protection on your engine.. use mobil1 specially this coming summer and traffic jam you need a very good engine protection.. that fully synthetic oil.. before i have 97 lancer i use this vehicle for almost 10 years, i dont have any major engine problem my odometer reading reach up to 296,000kms. still its run like new (kaya lang nabenta ko na) luma na kc....

Casa oil ang gamit ko sa J ko. Pag mineral oil, every 5K ang palit. Pero ang full Synthetic, evey 10K ang palit. Iyon lang nga, every 5K pa rin ang oil filter. Pag pinalitan ang oil filter, may matatapon na oil, so, additional na 1/2 liter na full synthetic.

Sa 1K and 5K, free ang labor and ang damage ko lang in each PMS was 820.00+

10K nag full synthetic ako, 4,400.00+, di na free ang labor, palit spark plugs, and engine detailing

15K, oil filter, 1 liter synthetic oil, 1,700+

Puwedeng ma void ang warranty pag hindi sa casa ang maintenance.

Just use the ordinary mineral oil then follow the 5,000 kms change oil. Change your oil filter every 10,000 kms. Pag 5,000 pa lang puede mo pahugasan ang oil filter. I do believe in synthetic pero mahal kasi. Just want to share my experience, we have a 1990 Nissan Urvan Microbus mated with TD25 engine manual transmission, and kilometer reading niya ngaun is closing to 500,000 kms na. We just used ordinary oil either 10w40 grade or 20w50 grade. No problem sa engine until now, For the oil filter we used Vic brand replacement filters. Ala naman kami major problem sa makina na encounter.

Same procedure na ginagawa ko ngayon to my 2005 Nissan Sentra GS, 2007 Nissan Urvan Escapade, and 97 model Volkswagen Caravelle TDI.

Ang importante is to change oil regularly. Kung mineral ang gamit, every 5,000 Km.

Iyong iba nga changes their oil (mineral) every 4,000 Km para safe daw.

Every change oil, new oil filter din.

Unfortunately, dahil sa brand new ang unit mo, we have to deal with Toyota Casas.

The best oil would be 100% synthetic oil of the recommended viscosity and rating, replaced every 5,000 kms. Seeing that's costly, the next safest alternative would be to get mineral oil of the recommended viscosity and rating, and having it replaced every 5,000 kms.

As to having 100% synthetic oils in your engine for extended intervals (i.e. longer than 5,000 kms or 10,000 kms because it's synthetic), although the synthetic oils can perhaps safely handle such, they do not recommend such. Casas will probably push you to buy their expensive synthetics and allow you to change your oil every 10,000 kms, but I would rather not go that route.

Generally, it's still cheaper to change your mineral oil every 5,000 kms, than to change your synthetic oil every 10,000 kms. Personally, I find it cleaner to do the former rather than the latter, so that the dirty oil doesn't swim in your engine for very long, and the dirt is regularly flushed out.

Ako po sa BPI kumuha ng Bank Loan. Mababa lang ang interest, even in-house financing, di kinayang tapatan ang offer ng bangko. Also, mas mura ang Chattel Mortgage kung dun ka na rin makakakuha sa bangko. Although, mas advantage ang may account, try mo din applayan. Pag na-approve, tatanungin ka naman muna nila kung may naka-usap ka nang dealer, at that point, pwede mong sabihin na gusto mo sa Commonwealth. Goodluck!

Thanks for your advice,regarding sa insurance dun na rin ba kayo kumuha or pwedeng sa labas na lang.Sa case nyo madali ba ang approval at na release na agad ang unit?4 weeks lang kasi ako dyan satin then balik na naman akong abroad.Thanks again and more power to avanza club!

ako im using fully synthetic oil for my trooper 3.0 diesel and altis 1.8 G ..
pero i change my oil every 7500 km .. why kamo ? most synthetic oils are designed to protect the engine for 10000 km .. pero that is the distance that the engine will travel before it needs an oil change, diba dapat i consider ang idle ng engine? example when your in traffic and the engines still runs,,
gets nyo?

eto pa, if your car is manual transmission and your the kind of driver that shifts * high RPM .. diba ?

ask ko lng genuine oil filter ba every ilang KM bago replace if your using synthetic?

I was about to ask kung magkano ang kuha mo sa seat cover at kung seat cover nga ba ito or upholstery, kasi ang ganda ng fittings.... pero nung sinabi mong 6K+ ang price, e convinced na nga ako na seat cover nga ito.

just a quick question, suppose ung gear natin nasa 5th or 4th gear, when decreasing the speed, do u normally shift down one gear at a time? or let's say, from 4th gear, derecho 2nd gear?

what's the best practice? kc ako i usually shift down one gear at a (5th to 4th, 4th to 3rd, 3rd to 2nd).

Depende sa speed. Let us say tumatakbo ako ng 70Kph sa 5th. May inabutan akong mabagal sa sasakyan na di ko ma overtake, so tapak sa clutch and brake, then down shift to the gear na tama sa speed na iyon. Let us say 3rd. So from 5th, napunta kaagad sa 3rd.

Sifting up. iyon ang sunod-sunod.

Kung laging stuck sa traffic. as in parkin glot. maganda nga na mag palit kaagad ng oil.

Kawawa ang makina kasi pag matagal na naka idle o kung laging may dalang heavy load o laging humihila ng load.
