Puwede naman, puls sa diesel, advisable na every 20K kms or 1 year ang palit ng fuel filter. Yung iba nga every 10K kms palit fuel filter na eh. (me included)

every one year or 20k? sa manual kasi nakalagay lang "fuel filter for diesel engine need not be change periodically". Mdyo malabo. 30K na ako and hindi pa napapalitan fuel filter ko.

Yang sinasabi sa manual na interval of filter change yan ay guide lamang, assuming na malinis ang kinakarga na fuel.
Dito sa atin laging sinsabi na marumi ang gasoline at diesel fuel, hindi naka abot sa euro 4 specs, matutuwa ang makina pag laging malinis ang fuel filter, of course and driver ay magkaroon ng trouble-free experience. Ang di matutuwa ay ang bulsa ng owner, but heck mura lang ang fuel filter.

Using original parts are always the safest bet.

I change my fuel filter every 5K along with oil change (I only use mineral oil).

As weisshorn mentioned, guide yung nasa manual. Have your filter changed and tingnan mo kung anong itsura ng filter element. At 5K km interval ko, I can already see dirt accumulation in the filter. Again, it's cheap insurance. At about 450 pesos per element per 5k km change interval, hindi na masakit sa bulsa.

Guys, tanong lang.. I had a chance to look at the fuel pump ng 3.0 D4D sa company namin, model 2007, mahaba na yung scv niya, kasinghaba nung scv ng 2.5 D4D ko, 2011. Ibig ba sabihin, Toyota rectified the problem regarding the SCV since 2007?

hindi pa po siguro... kasi as far as i can remember, there are a couple of 2008 models na naging problematic pa about the SCV.

nakakapagtaka lang kase magkasinghaba sila nung mga advertised na bagong scv ng denso pump and dun sa unit ko. grabe din sa dumi nung diesel sa site pero wala pa namang major issue akong naririnig. hit or miss pa rin? hays. sana nga rectified na sa 2009 and up models.

Sir wait mo after 3 to 4 yrs ng innova mo kung lusot ka na sa D4D problem kasi mostly after 3 to 4 yrs yun lumalabas.
