June 26th, 2014 06:55 AM #13Di sya lethargic in long drives, lethargic sya in city drives due to the throttle delay ng drive by wire, di lang sa gas ito evident kahit sa diesel ng innova..

June 26th, 2014 10:18 AM #14Let him try a diesel vehicle. Iba na din diesel vehicle ngayon lalo na yung D4d, CRDi, and the likes. Emission levels have improved because of technology.
I am not really bothered by the throttle lag or turbo lag even when trying to overtake. I make sure I have enough space plus some allowance when overtaking.

June 26th, 2014 01:19 PM #15Iba yung throttle lag sa turbo lag sir, yung throttle lag, walang response talaga yung makina for around 2 to 3 seconds pag apak mo hehehe....

June 26th, 2014 03:01 PM #19Drove a d4d innova for a week, masarap sa traffic pero nakakapagod ang vibration sa kambyo and blows a bit of black smoke whenever i floor it sa nlex and the mileage is just 15k,i use unioil euro4 diesel.
And yes, gas is definitely faster sa hiway.
If the next innova is better, id still go with gas, better if its 2.7 dual vvti.
Last edited by shibby75; June 26th, 2014 at 03:17 PM.

I have an Innova VVT-i in my office as my service. 1st owned. That thing is almost maintenance free. Oil change lang not even the spark plugs are replaced often pero same pa din takbo. 95tkms, still running on original clutch, original fuel filter, original radiator coolant from Toyota (red liquid), spark plug changed twice palang, gear oil replaced once, etc. Could run 170-180kph. I take it anywhere, walang katakot takot na may masisira (although nagpalit nako cooling coil ng AC, that's about it). Last time may nag vibrate akala ko kung ano na, hindi lang pala na-lock ng maigi lagayan ng air filter (after that OK na). Consumes 8km/l, but I frequently travel alone naman. It has thread the whole of Luzon already. Very durable car. I don't know if the much more fuel efficient D4d is about as cheap to maintain cos it has turbo, CRDi with very delicate injectors etc.
just to pump the above inquiry. Any feedback on ATMT care care for their ceramic coating ? is...
