newbie innova J user. i can't open the link, could somebody kindly help me. i want to install power windows on my innova J. are there any cheaper brands, mahal kasi ng shark. saan kinakabit yung mga switches ng cheaper brands? hope you could show me some pictures, dun sa mga nagpa-install na para magkaroon ako idea. ano gagawin dun sa window riser, tatanggalin na ba? so magkakaroon ng butas yung sidings kapag tinanggal yung window riser? sana po matulungan nyo ako na maliwanagan bago ako magpagawa. thanks in advance!

There are cheaper brands, if I can recall it's just around 6k but the switches are installed right where the lever is. They will remove the lever where they will attach the switches and mechanisms. Looks awkward in my opinion that's why I opted for the shark brand. As for Shark, they will cover the lever hole with the same plastic panel material. Guys, need your help. I need to replace the tires of my 4yr old Innova J. I also plan to upgrade to 17" wheels. I saw a 17x9 Rota P-45R with +25, +30 offset. So, to those who upgraded to 17" rims:
1. Will the above wheel specs fit our Innova?
2. If not, kindly advise what specs.
3. What tires (including brand) do you recommend?

17x9 rims are too wide for the innova, the recommended rim width is 17x7 or maximum 17x8, offset should be +35 to +40. I replaced the factory rims of my Innova G with 17x7 offset +42 wheels with 215/55-17 tires.

some questions here tsikoteers:

1. where can i buy cover-all plastic floor mat?

2. recommend a bang for the buck spare tire lock? where to buy? (planning to put my spare inside for the meantime)

3. where to buy nice rims? any recommended size? recommended tires?

4. cheapest leatherette seatcovers?

5. side mirror anti-theft, does this really work? where can i get these? etching effective?

6. recommend a maintenance free battery? worth it?

7. foglamps cover to resist flood and rain and water spill? how? where to get? wheel well cover?

8. can i add 2 more speakers for the innova J? is there a provision or there's some still cutting work to do with the doors?

6. recommend a maintenance free battery? worth it? My Innova is turning 4 this Aug, and I haven't replaced the Oriental low maintenance stock battery. I don't even remember the last time I checked the battery fluid levels. Never experienced any problem with starting the engine.

If your other concern is the price of CASA, you can actually ask for 10% discount for original Toyota accessories. I got mine for P6,200 only.
Try to haggle. This is from Toyota Makati.

Well most of the Innova rear spoilers needs to be drilled 3 holes to be installed. It is true that casa also drill their rear spoilers. But they say that they use silicone sealants on the holes to prevent it from rusting.

I believe there's one innova owner here who had his spoiler installed using metal clamps and 3M double side tape. If I'm not mistaken I think its Bumags and he got his spoiler from Toyota Makati.

If you read a few pages back of this thread you might find a pic of his spoiler.
