Nung Feb'05 lang nila nilabas, sa newspapers lang nila inadvertise. I saw one on the road kanina, parang 4x4 talaga. Also, my friend told me that some dealers offer body lift for the Dsl 4x2 variants. Price will more or less reach 1.2M. Good deal narin!

I've driven a new 4x4 Hilux but havent driven or seen a new hilux 4X2 yet. Tanong lang po meron bang diesel na Hilux na 4X2 lang? Anong engine and engine size nilagay nila? Pareha lang ba ang tindig? Magkano naman kaya ito ngayon?

4x2 Diesels ride lower and have smaller tires. They use the 102bhp D4D engine.

ht 4x2 gas has a stance that is similar already to the 4x4 model.

I wonder how the 2.7L gas engine performs/consumes vs the 3.0L CRDi engine. Accdg to the spec sheet, they have about the same hp, not sure about the torque tho. But on the outside, this 4x2 looks like the 4x4.

I just saw a website of Toyota SA...ito yun posting ng engines ng new Hilux

    100 kW at 5 600 r/min
    182 Nm at 4 000 r/min

    2.7-litre (Petrol)
    118 kW at 5 200 r/min
    241Nm at 3 800 r/min

    4.0 litre V6 (Petrol)
    175kW at 5 200 r/min
    343Nm at 2400 r/min to 4 800 r/min (Manual)
    376Nm at 3800 r/min (Auto)

    2.5-litre (Diesel)
This engine is offered in normal and Hi-spec versions depending on model derivative.
    75kW at 3600 r/min.
    200 Nm at 1 400 r/min to 3 400 r/min (Normal spec)
    260 Nm at 1 600 r/min to 2 400 r/min (Hi spec)

    3.0 litre (Diesel)
