There are about six drain holes in the cylinder head. If these are partially clogged, the oil that went up to the camshaft is not draining back fast enough back to the oil pan with the engine running. Check for sludge build up under the valve cover.

January 22nd, 2016 12:41 PM #14kasi bro, kapag umaandar ang makina, kasabay yung pag ikot ng oil pump.
yung oil pump, humihigop ng oil sa oil pan/reservoir.
kaya kung nag check ka ng oil dip stick habang umaandar ang makina, good sign kung walang reading sa dip stick. kasi nag cicirculate ng mabuti yung oil sa engine.
kasi kung may traces ng oil sa dip stick o kung may tumatalsik, ibig sabihin, mataas na yung blow-by gases na nakaka lusot sa half block (mechanics term - piston rings, bearings, clearances ng internals) or sirang PCV valve o low pressure na ang system.
