Kung may projector yung HID mo, mas ok ang HID. Pero kung wala, mag halogen ka na lang. Walang maaasar sayo.

As most may have already posted, refrain from using super white halogens/HID for this proves disadvantageous during wet road conditions. Garantisado yan.

Best to use 90/100 all-weather bulbs and install ceramic sockets and relay (1 each bulb). That you can never go wrong.

Put a budget of P3-3.5k and you're good.

Nakakabulag yan kasi sabog. Walang maayos na cut-off. Stick ka na lang sa halogen.

This is my set-up with our H4 equipped vehicles. Good thing now there are cheaper ceramic sockets available at True Value, Ace Hardware, etc. unlike before where i had to buy the Bosch ceramic sockets which would cost at least P 500 for the pair.

On our Innova, i used the plug and play Narva kit with 90/100W Osram All Weather and ceramic sockets. Worked very well.

Ok din daw yung Osram Nightbreaker, kaso short lifespan daw. They have a new one, Nightbreaker Plus, which supposedly addressed the short lifespan. Don't know if available here already and how much.
+1 on XTreme Power. I have both High & Low sets installed on my FD, more than enough output as far as I'm concerned. I seldom use my foglights. Now they have this new Xtreme Vision, 100% brighter (mas matalino?), still with stock wattage. I still have yet to see HB3 & HB4 variants for my Corolla. No more need for HID hubada-hubada...

sana lang mag exceed pa sa 1.5 years lifespan niya...

Been having this set-up for over 15 years in various cars (Toyota, Nissan and Honda) and never had problems on burning the lenses. The problems ive encountered were related with a bad install (mali yung electrician) and not using ceramic sockets.

The Narva wiring kit cost me around P700 or P800 in Banawe, the ceramic sockets will set you back around P200 for a set at True Value, Ace Hardware, etc. while the Osram all-weather bulbs will cost around P500 to P600 a piece more or less.

Take note lang there's a different Narva kit for Toyota cars as the quirk on Toyota cars with a relay and wire upgrade job is the low beam might remain on with the high beam if the installer isn't familiar with it.

will try out Philipps Extreme power. If I'm not satisfied i might go the HID route.

Para lang sa kaalaman ng lahat ...

    Stock ( left ) vs. Superwhite ( right )

    Obviously, napakahina ng Superwhite. :hammer:
