May iba naman na nagsasabi yung L ay first gear sa manual tapos yung 2 second at 3 third tapos yung d eh 4.naguguluhan ako.d ko alam kung ano susundin ko kapag nagdrive.minsan pa nga kapag aandar na eh nasa L yung kambyo ko.tapos 20kmspeed shift ako sa 2.parang ba nag manual shifting ako sa automatic na car.hindi kaya masira gearbox nun?

Best to leave it in D for 99% of driving conditions. 3, 2 and L merely inhibit shifting. L allows only 1st gear, 2 allows 1st and 2nd, and 3 allows 1st to 3rd. These are normally used when climbing steep inclines.

Use automatic..it is smoother and will prolong the life of your transmission.

May tanong pa po ako kapag nasa D sya kusang umaandar yung car kahit d mo tapakan yung gas.normal lang po ba yun?

May question Po Ako last month eh ika 1month na ang avanza ko.ayos Lang po Ba na pinachange oil kuna sya agad?ang sabi Kasi nung nakausap ko eh pwede daw Yun at ang sabi yung unang Lagay ng oil eh generic Lang.hindi po ba na salestalk Ako?kasi halos hindi umabot ng 1kkilometer yung odo ko.so far naman wala naman naging problem yung sasakyan ang napansin ko Lang ang tining ng tunog ng engine ko at ang smooth ng takbo ko simula nung nagpachange oil Ako.semisyntethic yung oil ok Lang po ba yun?tska po nagpaestimate Ako ng mga gas gas umabot po ng 67k ang ba bayaran ganun po ba yun?thanks po more power sa inyo.

Sana pina abot mo muna sa 1k kms, yung skin 2nd gen dati lampas 1month bago ko nagpa PMS. Naloko pa ko kasi naglagay ng Fuel Treatment at Engine Flush, hinde naman pala kailangan yun. Ang next PMS mo sa 5k kms mo na, libre pa din labor nun, parts lang bayaran mo na oil at filter pa lang. Bakit naman dami na gasgas, cover ng insurance yan sa own damage mo, pagawan mo lang police report, participation lang bayaran mo. Wag ka pumayag sa 67k na yun

Even a Crosswind with an automatic tranny can make it up to Baguio with no issues. The Avanza 1.3 MT is lighter and punchier than that.

The only places you will have problems are in some of the residential driveways, which can get very steep, but they should be doable with a little "bwelo"... the main roads into, around and out of Baguio all have pretty gentle grades.

any idea how to activate the avanza 1.5G navigator. kung ano mga kelangan pa bilhin bago magamit? specs said. navigation ready. newbie kaya wala idea how to activate it.

Had the 1.3 4AT for uber...

-suspension is much stiffer than the old one. You will feel the road imperfections. I was on the 2nd row.

-tires felt wider, suspension was definitely grippy

-nvh is amazing, even better than corolla, no tire noise on different roads.

-engine was quiet and it reached 80kph easily. Driver was slightly eager.

-no lumbar support on the 2nd row, this feature will let you seat 3 people better on the 2nd row.

-fc was reported as good. Driver was using eco-indicator. Fc isnt good on bad stop&go traffic.

-transmission is not as smooth as the 4AT of the old corolla or 4AT of the Nissan almera. I felt a minor jerk as reported by autoindustriya.
