Has anyone tried these from Ziebart?
1) Diamond Gloss
2) Undercoat Sound Barrier

regarding diamond gloss, may nakausap akong fortuner owner na masyado daw manipis ang coat ng paint ng fortuner a staff from ziebart told her daw after her unit undergone diamond gloss treatment.

mga bro, may nagpakabit na ba ng roof rack sa inyo? malamang kailanganin ko eh. anong klase/brand pinakabit nyo? ok/bagay ba? TIA

bumili ako ng car cover for SUV hirap kasi mag linis ng roof. cover ko nalang sya. cost me 2000 for that. ok naman fit na fit sa fortuner.

Someone here once posted that if you run your vehicle below 1500rpm for over 2-3 minutes, you wont' have to idle your engine for 1 or 2 minutes before turning the ignition switch off. Actually, that's what I do. I make sure I don't go over 1500rpm while looking for a parking slot. If the parking slot search takes longer, I won't use my turbo timer anymore.

So hindi pala sa speed yon, sa RPM. So ill just make sure that I will not exceed 1500 RPM a minute or 2 before my destination. Tnx a lot.

RE: paint protection, I had it done at the casa during my 1000 PMS.

does this mean ninipis ang paint coating bago i-apply ang Dimond Gloss? Or talagang manipis na ang coating before application?

attynorby, any comments po tunkol dito sa sinabi ni bilog? Will DG prevent minor scratches (say from plants, etc.)? Nilagyan din ba ang loob (inner side)ng mga pinto and arches?

she said the paint of the fortuner is coated thin. i do not know if this is true though. malalaman din natin yan in time.

with regards to the turbo of the fortuner, iba ang design nito, it has variable vanes to keep turbo lag at a minimum. so even if the rpm is low it still spins, unlike the turbo of older designed engines that it usually spools up in the 2500 up region. so even if slow driving or low rpm ka there is a chance na the turbo is spinning in the fortuner. better to have a timer installed.

oo tama sila sobra nipis ng coat ng fortuner. ksi nabangga ko lang yung ng konti yun pinto sa wall. tangal na yung paint nya. lumabas na yung white color nya.
ask ko lang ilang hours yung procedure ng pag DG., wala bang mura dyan?

nagpalagay me pero bihira ko rin nagagamit , aerorack brand 3,500 lang sa goldrich banawe, may carryboy din pero mahal nasa 6,000-8,000 ata and parang mas konti bakal yun sa carryboy, after installing kailangan ka pa kumuha ng permit sa LTO yan, tawag nila TOP LOAD, minimal fees lang, ang disadvantage lang sa roofrack ko (dunno with other brand) is when you reach the speed between 120-130kph,may vibration kang maririnig galing sa roof :down: nakakapagtaka nga eh kc pag over 130kph mawawala yun vibration, basta may vibration lang bet 120-130kph
