    ano ano po ba ang pwede i mod sa 2.5 d4d para lumakas ang performance ,yung mod na walang kakalikutin sa makina or sa differential , Yung mod na install install lang ,

    ito po list ko .

    - EGR blanking plates
    - K&N air filter
    - race chip
    - intercooler ? ( medyu alangan baka maraming gagalawin sa makina, ma letse pa )
    - Fuel Combustion Enhancer ? ( testing ko sa advie namin dati parang bumilis )

    any mods po na ma suggest niyu ? and kung ano mga advisalbe at hindi na mga mod :sweat:

    i dont need speed ang gusto ko kahit lumakas lang ang arangkada at power ng performance, peru pwede na rin kahit madagdagan ang top speed kahit 10-15kph lang ;)

    Kung simple mod lang, chip ang suggestion ko. Kasi plug and play lang then tuning nalang.

    Di pa ako nakapagdrive ng D4D, and lalo na ng Innova na D4D kaya di ko macompare yung arangkada from zero kung alin talaga mas mabilis kung ang D4D or VVTI.

    Pero dahil diesel ang D4D I bet mas mabilis aahon from stop ang D4D. Kung power (horsepower) pag uusapan, wala na yan ilalakas pa, mag VVTI ka kahit tops speed wala binatbat D4D.

    Wag ka mag K&N, dudumi intake mo.

    How about A Unichip? Alam ko mas mataas gains niya compared to other Chips e.
    An FMIC upgrade would also be good sir

    kahit arangkada wala siguro binatbat ang d4d, kasi gas ang vvt-i walang hangganganan, at madaling sunugin kumpara sa diesel , madalas kasi ako ahunan lalo sa baguio kaya need ko ang power lalo na kapag punuan , kaya hindi ko talaga kaylangan ang madagdagan ang top speed ;)

    ito'ng chip lang talaga ang alam ko na mod effective sa diesel engine, the rest suggest and research ko lang

    If i had an Innova for my personal use:

    - Drop-in filter
    - Alcohol Injection
    - Uni Chip (+ dyno tuning)

    ???+> Boost controller and gauge (Any one tried this on a D4d already?)

    Re. K&N, we've been using this for ages in our cars (since the 1990s) and with regular cleaning and re-oiling, we never had any problems related to dirty intake plenums. If ever, it's just the same as any car that hits high mileage which will need TB cleaning after several years and well over a 100K of service.

    I would not really go over on the power of the Innova though as at the end of the day, it is still an MPV and not a sport sedan. At most, based on what i feel whenever i use our family Innova out of town, i always wanted better low-end to mid range power from the a/t version for climbing and passing during highway runs with a moderate to heavy load.

    vvti should accelerate faster from a full stop pag d4-d bubwelo pa yan.

    I've driven both. VVTi & D4d Innova.
    the 2.0 VVTi is really really slow. you really have to step on the gas to get it going. That means bad FC too.
    The 2KD-FTV gets you to decent speeds faster than the VVTi without really pushing it. Yun nga lang wala masyadong top speed.

    ^ yun nga kaya gusto ko sana ,madagdagan ng power lalo na sa acceleration. at kung sa top speed din sana kahit 10-15kph , mataas palagi ang rpm kahit nasa 100kph pa lang , mataas din sa kasi FC yun .. medyo kulang sa duluhan ang takbo ng m/t 2.5 d4d parang nang hihingi pa ng kambyo .kasi ang mga a/t naman ang mababa ang rpm kahit nasa 160kph na .

    i try blanking plates and k&n air filter muna bago yung race chip, obserbahan ko muna

    i was able to drive an innova 2.5 d4d j when my friend bought one, 1st gear acceleration was fast as if parang gas engine lang but pag dating sa 2 and 3 medyo mabagal mag accelerate but you will notice it has a lot of torque which is the norm for a diesel engine, but compared to old school diesel it's a leap beyond.

    in my opinion nasa driver siguro yan kung gamay na niya yung auto, cause my friend who own that innova, he's usual cruising highway speed is 150kph -170kph and in the city way above the normal driving limit (never rode with him again)
