January 7th, 2003 04:55 AM #13I m new to this forum. I have a revo diesel and IMO talagang maingay ang revo na diesel. At first akala ko sa aking unit lang pero hindi pala. Maingay lang naman siya when your the car is idling and your outside the car. But when inside the car ok naman and noise. About the latching sound, I don't think I have that problem with my clutch.
The revo diesel is my favorite car. Magaang i-drive at resposive naman yung engine niya. Siguro kung walang colorcoding di na ko gagamit ng ibang sasakyan.

Compared to a diesel revo, mas maingay pa rin ang crosswind... Tunog pa lang alam mo ng isuzu engine ang tumatakbo......

Got my Revo GLX diesel last July 2002.
So far I'm truly impressed with the performance and car-like handling. Yung engine noise e na-temper naman ng husto so that it is not really that irritating, but you'd know since the grunt's still there. But compared to a Crosswind, the Revo is much quieter. At walang usok! Very cool factor sa kin yon!
I easily average 11 Km per liter sa city, ACU always on, at medyo kaskasero pa ako. Haven't tried too much of long distance trips, except last Pasko when the family retreated to Indang for several days, and of course the Bocaue sorties for some fireworks we used during the New Year.
Latching sound, na parang metal to metal clanking, may be due to loose universal joints at the propeller shaft. Ipa-check mo ang play ng propeller shaft, baka damaged na, o kaya kulang lang sa greasing ang fittings. Pag di ka nasiyahan, papalitan mo sa casa since under warranty pa naman yan.
Hope u get that problem fixed so that you'll enjoy your Revo as I do mine. :D:D:D
