Get 2nd hand alloy rims. Mura lang. If you can spend a million, why can't you buy a set at 10k or even less.

Ideally if somebody wants to upgrade the steel rims, it should be with the ones that the G variants are wearing. Even that does not cost "10k or even less". Should be at least 50-60K (rim + tires) which somebody traded in.

Saw an E variant sa I-Mall Canlubang. Sobrang bare sa labas (black door handles and side mirror, steel rims without hubcaps, no rear bumper, etc.) pero di mo pagkakamalang mid variant sa loob (fog lamp switch sa stalk, steering mounted controls, bluetooth connectivity with controls also sa steering wheel, all power amenities, etc.).

This E model looks really appealing since it doesn't lose out on the basics the G 4x2 has. Same engine (2GD high 400nm), 6 m/t, dual airbags plus driver's knee, and other basic stuff. The 17" steelies based on the official brochure so just have to see how it looks in person.

Same comment as my brother told me (i'll still check it out this weekend). It's bare on the outside but the inside is okay enough. One thing going against it is... the Navarra at less than 1M with more to offer.

IMO, the only noticeable difference between the G 4x2 and E variant interior-wise are the HU and climate controls (auto climate for the G 4x2 vs manual dial for E).

Akala ko nga nung una sa malayo J variant with foglamps lang. At this price (1.033M), i will also consider the Navara NP300 EL Calibre. Sa Hilux E marami ka pang dapat gawin para maging kasing "presentable" ng EL Calibre.
