kung manual yan technically mas matipid ang 1.3 but if you can afford the bigger engine, then go for 1.5, hindi naman ganon kalaki ang diperensya pagdating sa fc
1.3 or 1.5 make sure you get the Manual Transmission.
The only advantage of Automatic Transmission is "convenience in driving daw sa trapik". This is true kung diretso ka lang sa isang lane kapag trapik. Pero, kung akikipag singitan ka o sisksikan sa left or right ng lane.... mahirap dumiskarte.
All the rest, plus points na para sa Manual Transmission.
Worth it talaga bilihin. Thumbs up Toyota![]()
Agree! Innova siguro mga 3 years nalang may new model na yan. At least ang avanza, mga 7 to 9 years pa yan bago mag labas ng new model.
Ang concerm ko lang is the fuel consumption. Sana may mag post ng fc nila based on actual.
My 2012 1.5G AT AVANZA's average FC (city) is just around 7-8km/l. This is far from the rumored 12km/l... ODO now is 512km so far.... i have been very gentle on the gas pedal hoping my FC will improve but still the same... =(
Don't know if my unit has a problem or that is just the car's capability.
12 km per liter ay possible malamang steady at 60 kph sa express way na walang traffic. kadalasan kasi ideal conditions ang gamit pag nagbigay ng milage.
ayon sa computer ng innova, I get less than 5 km per liter while accelerating slowly at lower gears, 10 to 11+ steady at 80 kph.
baka kaya pa i detail yan..
ok lang yan ganyan talaga sasakyan.. di maiiwasan yan.. hintayin mo na lang dumami tsaka mo i claim sa insurance..
Good day to all...I had an interest in 2012 avanza due to its improved looks, but to my disappointment, i was informed that the avanza is basically DAIHATSU, and manufactured in Thailand Daihatsu. Is this true? I google(d) then is says it is Daihatsu being supplied to toyota under consigned production, even the engine is daihatsu, kaya pala iba ang engine setup compared to the vios and other toyota variants. And it is actually named Xenia if being released by daithatsu..sorry this maybe an old story, just want to have any enlightenment to those who still have time..thank you.
It's still a Toyota. Daihatsu gets its technology from Toyota. Not the other way around.
Example, the Daihatsu Feroza's ancestor is the Toyota Blizzard. The Daihatsu Terios is a Toyota Rush.
The fact that Toyota is having it made in a Daihatsu plant makes it no different from Toyota having cars made at their Bicutan plant.
The engine is still a Toyota engine. The ancillaries (intake system, exhaust, other minor bits) are different to accommodate the rear wheel drive configuration.

hmm thanks sir for the input, sana nga. pero ang phil plant ng toyota basically banners toyota, not other brands..enwei, i just hope that this avanza is not just a sales strategy of toyota just to have an entry in the APV business. i'm really interested in the new avanza, pero sympre malaking pera po ang involve so might as well weighs everything first. Thank you very much sir for info.
