September 3rd, 2013 06:53 PM #831i beg to differ but i think the most unbiased review will be from actual users/owners and not from someone whose interest relies on the golden egg. no offense meant wilcats
(TGC, per experience, is one of the better toyota casas though
.i also have the 2nd gen, been around the the new gen and observed that there's really no significant increase in size. but i should say that aesthetics wise, it has leveled-up big time from its predecessors. only thing i find off is the door which clangs like a tin can when closed with a bit of brute force, but its really a minor thing.

No problem sir.
I'm here to help you guys get informed well with the new Vios, not just market it.
Regarding size, I'll give you the specifics for it. The exact increase in length compared to its' successor is 4.3" or 110mm. REAR Legroom actually grew by 75mm. Head room also increased by 31mm in front, & 16mm at the rear. Shoulder room grew 21 & 33 respectively. To some it may not be that much, but that increase is already significant for a sub-compact vehicle, which has of course its' own limit in dimension to differentiate it from the car maker's "compact size" models. HTH.
Oh yeah I also noticed that "clang" sound on the door when you close it with a lil force. Not all doors are affected but you'll experience this mostly on the driver side. Ironic is that during our product training, they informed us that the door seals & trims were improved on this one. NVH did improve though... We already addressed this concern & hopefully we'll get some good response from TMP.

September 4th, 2013 09:55 AM #834Hello po, newbie here, I just got my new Vios, 1.5 G po. I'm impressed with its performance though I can't compare it to the previous model po, this is my first Vios kasi.
*Yung FC ko po ngayon is 7.+ km/l as of now po, is it normal na ganun sa umpisa ang FC po ba?
* Any ideas po where to get the ff po:
-mudguards
-step sill
-spoiler (if may available na?)
wala pa kasi sa dealer namen ung mga yun po eh.
Thank you!

September 4th, 2013 11:19 AM #836Alam ko ang FC is normally high for new cars then it will stabilize to a lower value later on.

September 4th, 2013 02:58 PM #840Thank you po, I'll just check TMBC this weekend siguro po.
Regarding po sa FC, city drive po (Moderate traffic condition) at first it was 6km/l then later on I noticed umangat na siya to 7km/l siguro po after my 1k dun na talaga lalabas yung actual FC niya. When I acquired my Altis dati po, hindi naman siya ganun eh kaya nag worry ako agad. Hehehe.
