Yes sir. Caltex Silver po ako eversince. Never pa po nalagyan ng ibang gas ang bios ko. kahit yung first car ko po. no issues naman. kung ayaw mo naman sir bilin ko na lang yan haha!

Skyactiv lang ang kakaiba kasi sagad na ang compression for a specific octane. Leaving owners no more room for flexibility in terms of fuel octane

In my experience, using 95 octane fuel has better oomph and engine response. Parang may konting delay sa response kasi kapag 91 ron lang. Mas mahal nga lang ng konti. Been a driver for 15yrs now at ganun observation ko.

Update : gumamit ako ng 91 octane from Phoenix. Mas nagustuhan ko pa hatak

There are 2 industries where in utilization of high octane petrol is prevalent; namely, the racing and the air transport. The reason behind this is that both industries are operating on low traffic environment or minimal stop & go

I understand why others believe that its a waste of money on a real life traffic scenario because in high traffic volume most of its energy is wasted while idling on the road. So its safe to conclude that stop & go is the bane of high octane fuel, its in this situation that their effect is not telling

In city driving 100 octane is indeed a waste of money unless you drive in a skyway or during night time. In a free flowing traffic like a race track and air space its effect is very much felt

personally sumasayad ako sa mga humps every now and then

tapos just this weekend, i had run onto a huge rock mga 1 to 2 feet ang diameter while reverse parking.

ininspect ko naman maigi to the best of my ability kung anong damage nagawa niya sa ilalim and found little to none

anyways just to make sure na wala ngang damage, ano po bang kelangan gawin?

ask na rin po sana ako kung meron po bang mga accessories i could use to "protect" yung pang-ilalim?

low traffic is not the reason. it's because both their engines are designed to run at high octane gas, engine performance will be affected if they use low octane gas.

I'm referring to Jet A-1 fuel used by commercial liners, which is kerosene that can withstand higher altitudes without freezing.

I think smaller craft can run on a wider variety of fuels.

Piston engine = Avgas (aviation gasoline) = high octane gasoline (can be leaded or unleaded depending on source).
