Tanong mo sir kay Maspro Banawe baka kaya nila. Sabi kasi ni SG, kaya daw nila Master Benjie sa Gen 1, eh halos same lang naman Gen 1 at Gen 3 -- may abang na. So baka magawan nila yan ng RFL.

Para namang walang trunk release function (or hindi ko pa nata-try). Dun sa susi kasi e lock at unlock doors lang ang functions.

na-curious lang ako. same pa rin ba yung key fob ng 3rd gen sa 2nd gen? or katulad na siya ng sa IMVs and sa 10th gen Altis? yung sa 2nd gen (E and G variant) kasi kaparehas ng key fob ng 3rd gen Rav4.

Pansin ko lang, wala na palang speed sensing door lock ang bagong VIOS including new Prado Bakit tinipid ng Toyota ito?

Nasanay ako sa Innova G na may automatic door lock.

Wala pa bang discount ang new Vios 3rd Gen? And also since bank PO most likely sa amin (icacash ng bank), is it common that the dealer will push that we get the insurance and TPL from them (dealer) ?

We are looking for a daily driver, about 60km/day round trip, with moderate to heavy traffic along the route (Espana, Qave, Roxas or EDSA).

Still torn if the 79K price differential between the 1.3E and the 1.5G is worth it (762K vs 847K). The 1.5G Vios 3rd gen is already too close to the price of the Altis 1.6G model after discounts (904K less around 55K = 849K).

It makes choosing more confusing. The 2 cars are on different classes (sub-compact vs compact) and the Altis has a more luxurious feel, not to mention a lot of nice features (motorized seats, illuminated visors, etc).

But then, the new Altis will arrive before year end which will make the newly purchased car sort of "old model" already in a few months.

The 1.6G doesn't have those features you mentioned. It is in 2.0V. The 1.6V doesn't even have powered seats. It does look like the top spec variant on the outside though.

I think the 1.6G though is the best value model. More so is the limited edition Corolla Altis TRD Sportivo which has 17" rims, special badging and side skirts for just mere 10K hike from the 1.6G AT which it is based at.

1.3E models and below features a black interior. Only G variants have beige interiors.

Wala pa discounts sa mga dealers, lalo na kung bank PO. In very exceptional cases, Meron konti nagbibigay, the most is 5k, either in cash or in kind (gas card). The usual setup is for you to pay the downpayment sa dealer. Regarding insurance, most likely e sa bank mo kukunin ito though you have the option to choose where to get it. Regarding sa TPL, babayaran mo sa casa since sila ang magrerehistro (unless of course ikaw ang magrerehistro. Hope this helps.
