A flood damaged car is a headache... unless the casa checked absolutely everything and replaced everything... and even then, it goes from being a major headache to a moderate one.

Wiring can and will fail. I had one car that was flooded and swapped. After the swap, the car kept blowing ECUs. We could never figure out the cause, and we were getting ready to rewire the entire vehicle before we sold it.

Flooded cars can and will corrode in areas that don't normally corrode... rust forms where you can't see it or reach it. Wires break. Things burn. Maybe you won't die when the ECU goes out (the ECU always seems to burn out on me at 100 km/h... ), but it's damn inconvenient.

550 may seem like a good deal compared to an 800k secondhand... but you won't get the warranty... and the unit will forever be in the dealership records as having been recovered from flood damage... which means you can't sell it for much, either... or if you do and the next buyer finds out, you're going to have a fight on your hands.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

But the point of buying a new car is to have as little problems with the car. What is the use of the warranty when the car spends more time at the casa than in your garage?

Yung matitipid ba is worth the hassle?
