To owners and users of LC 250 Prado, please share your experience thus far. Alam ko it is very difficult to get one and madaming mga offers that will set you back almost P500k in interests if financing plus accessories. I myself had to fork out for inflated insurance, tint, and Brila ceramic coating on top of the SRP. Let's just say it wasn't cheap. Apologies in advance, but I promise the dealer not to divulge anymore information.

Anyhow, how has your ride been? Did you read the manual inside out like I did?

Because this car has been my dream for 20 years, I personally enjoyed the car right off the bat. I personally washed the car for 2 months haha! Some reviews said that there are rattles inside the car and the ride is a bouncy. Some say that the 2.4L Turbo Engine feels lacking in power when the weight of the vehicle is taken into account. Some say that the space inside feels smaller than what you see outside. They are not wrong if you ask me. I personally believe the car's downshift is a bit rough. I feel the AC clutch activating under the driver's seat. So, is it still worth the price plus add-ons? Well, if you have saved up like I did for 20 years and have dreamed of this car for that long to own, then YES. It is a great vehicle if you like driving SUVs on-road like I do. I like feeling higher on-road.

Sadly, a great car still comes with great responsibility. I say responsibility because I encountered some issues 2 weeks into driving it after getting the OR/CR.

One issue I encountered is a static or alarm noise like the one we get on our cellphones. I had to shut off and restart the engine to stop it.

Another issue is using the charging port and wireless charging. I have a 70mai A500s dash cam plugged into the USB C port using an adapter USB A to USB C. Sometimes when I start the car, there would be this static noise that would get louder when you accelerate. SOunds like a whining alternator. For the wireless charging, I heard a knocking sound near the charging port after I charged my phone. I have to restart the engine to get rid of the sound.

The sound is similar to this post:

Car is in CASA now for PMS kahit 700 kms pa lang since owning it. First time din daw ni CASA to service an LC 250 Prado so they needed the car longer for observation.

Initial prognosis is some ground failure along the wires.

We'll keep you guys updated. Baka mayroon din sa mga owners or friends of owners who have heard of this.

Keep on going!
