According to website Creative311 (via PaulTan.org), Toyota in Japan is handing out declarations to the 22,000 would-be Land Cruisers owners there that they cannot resell their SUV for export or resale purposes for a period of 12 months. The reason? Toyota doesn’t want its all-new LC to fall into the hand of terrorist groups.

I doubt if they can enforce this but i still remember in the early 90's about Honda having a similar condition when buying the Civic, that it stipulates that you cannot register the unit as a Taxi.

LC200 was the last generation full sized Land Cruiser to have a manual.

VDJ2-GDMNZ - Land Cruiser 2 STD manual 9 seater

The LC300 they sell right now is automatic only.

VJA3-GNUAZV - Land Cruiser 3 V6 Petrol Auto 7 Seater

These was sourced from Toyota Gibraltar. Most of their lineup was low to mid end models only.

Toyota won't sell any MT. Because emission purposes and its just not worth doing so coz nobody will buy it. They already have a huge R&D budget for the Hybrid powertrain anyway.

Land Cruiser is a premium SUV in Toyota's lineup. Sure there will be no manual option in 300 even in some markets that the old generation LC200 sold previously with a stick shift. The LC Prado also dropped the manual option when the 2.8L 1GD engine arrived here. In some markets as well. And also because of the growing popularity of automatic tranny in the country also in the whole world.
