On the positive side, may kapalit naman na benefits yung engine downsizing. Better FC, less weight and better weight distribution. The new LC should handle and brake better.

No need for a V8 if you can achieve similar outputs with a potent V6.

Platform looks very similar to the current LC200. I don't think it'll be a big change in terms of experience from the inside.

V8 fans bili na lang ng current LC hehe

as far as V8s go, i do not find the land cruiser v8 diesel particularly tuneful. tahimik pa nga no doubt muffled by the turbos. yun gas sounds way better.

V8 gas pwede pa.. sa mustang, V8 talaga hinahanap eh yung ecoboost parang di masyado click.. pero sa V8 diesel iba naman sound nyan..

maganda sa V8 diesel ng LC, tahimik compared sa ibang 4 banger ng toyota. ganda ng idling sound.. parang big truck.. not clunky

yep your'e right. V8 gas engines may distinct sound than V8 diesel na tunog truck talaga. V8 diesel na LC200 sounds like powerstroke ford super duty or duramax chevy silverado.

Of course with the factory mufflers tahimik talaga, but with an exhaust the V8 really comes alive. Obviously it's not going to sound like V8 gas, but you still get a sound that's truly not possible with the more common I4 diesels.

1:04 on this second vid sounds kinda gas-like

judging by the sound definitely more than a few there in the vid are gasoline powered LCs.
