The 1KR-FE engine (Granpa of the 1KR-VE engine in the 2018 Wigo) has a timing chain.

The 1KR-VE is an improved version of the "FE", so I see no reason for Toyota/Daihatsu to downgrade back to a timing belt.

Normally, all-new body, interior etc.

This facelifted 2017 Wigo is still technically the 1st gen, owners call it 2nd gen, which is wrong.

The current Fortuner for example, is actually just the 2nd generation.

The current Yaris looks like an all-new model, but actually is just a facelift as well.

matipid siya. we get 9-10 km in the metro, and 16 in slex.
but it is very sensitive to standstill and crawling traffic. it can go as low as 8 or 7 (ugh!) km/li.

all without even trying.
