    its launch numbers. not actual numbers.

    the launch numbers are from the stricter 2017 epa ratings. thats why some vehicles like the new 2017 crv easily went over its highway mpg.

    Honda will be using turbo engines for the new generation Accord. A higher-tuned 1.5L turbo (similar to the new Civic) for the base model replacing the K24 engine and a lower-tuned 2.0L turbo (similar to the Civic Type R) for the top model replacing the J35 V6 engine.
