Mega-sirs, I just ordered a Fortuner 4x2 V. Any suggestions on where to mount my phone? On my 2014 Fort, I use a Scosche magicmount placed beside the AC controls. I can't seem to find a similar blank space on the dash of the new model. Big deal for me since I'm a heavy user of Waze.

I put my mount on the dash, then landscape orientation while using Waze. It falls below the 4 inch limit.

Adjusting light sensitivity for V variants. Tested and verified From FCP*FB

For V variant owners of the new Fort with dark tint on the windshield that find it annoying that your headlights turn on every time you pass under a lot of trees or if the skies are overcast, you can adjust the sensitivity of the headlight by doing the following which I saw in another group.

    覧覧覧覧覧覧覧覧覧覧
You can adjust auto headlight sensitivity through the software that controls it

    1) Switch ignition to ON
    2) Make sure dimmer switch is in lowbeam and not pushed forward into constant high beam
    3) Turn light switch onto park light setting
    4) Turn ignition OFF
    5) Hold headlights into highbeam
    6) While highbeam is pulled on (pulled and not pushed to constant highbeam), turn to headlight then back to park light (not auto) 5 times. You will need 2 hands to do this.
    7) Release high beam (the headlamps will flash in relation to what setting they are currently set on. It should flash 3 times with the setting being 0 which is the default. (if they don't flash you are not in the settings)
    8) Hold highbeam on again and turn between headlight and park light setting.

The number of times you turn it will vary the sensitivity.
    Once -40
    Twice -20
    Three 0
    Four +20
    Five +40

    9) Once you have turned between headlamps and park light for your desired preference, release the highbeam.

The headlamps will flash for the number that you have selected.

And once it flashes say once, you are all complete.

    Good luck!
