Instruction from the LTO on how to apply the sticker:

"Make sure that the space of application behind the rear view mirror is clean, dry and has no window film / tint applied."

No distinction between metallic / non-metallic.

As what sir heavenlee said, dapat walang tint when you stick the sticker.

*vinrem, sir when you got the new plate number, meron bang kasamang bolts to screw in? Nakuha ko na rin just two days ago pero walang mga bolts. Dati kasi sa Innova ko when the new plates were distributed merong kasamang mga bolts.....

Use uncommon bolts? Like allen capscrew bolts, perhaps?

i would be concerned with the quality of the turnilyos.
they must be strong enough to do the job, lest the steering system split open on the road.

Hahaha sorry sir, di ko napansin, check ko pag uwi ko ng pinas next week, may nakita akong acrylic plate protector, I might get one para di masira ang plaka and sabay na change ng bolts if ever ordinary lang.

Wow...that much for a liter bottle of oil, filter & injector cleaning fuel additive????
Nothing would likely be claimed under warranty between now & May....but, if peace of mind is what you're after, follow the good doc's advice.

Me too, since I grew up in a car shop, all my cars when its time for their PMS, I tell the SA to just change the oil and oil filter. No other fancy stuff (eng detailing, injector cleaner, and other unnecessary ek ek). I see the faces of SA not liking me probably because they won't have add'l kita.

I'd advise ŕ la carte over buffet when it comes to dealership menus, too. Post warranty? DIY, if one can. Home cooking isn't only budget friendly, it's almost always the healthier diet.[emoji4]

For 3,400 pesos.. i was able to do change oil for my fortuner! Not a top-up ha... DIY nga lang..

Used an original toyota oil 5w-30 for 1,500 pesos per 4 liter can that says "made in japan" plus an original toyota oil filter.

this would have been better..with free air and ac filter cleaning and stronger oil.

guys just a question. new fortuner owner here. how do i open the coolant cap? was checking and it wont rotate because it has some sort of “lock” to prevent rotation. i didnt want to just pop it off and couldnt find instructions in the manual... any video showing me how to do this will do fine also

    same with my 2005 innova.
i didn't bother with it anymore.
i just look at the overflow cannister, and fillit to the mark from time to time. like, five or so times in a dozen years. heh heh.
    i hasn't given me problems.
