BTW, sabi ng SA na kausap namin kagabi, by January, magtataas ang Wigo ng SRP nila, pero 5,000 lang naman.

    take your time, sir.
do not fall for these "price increase" warnings. the confusion involved, is not worth it.
it's not as if you are buying a washing machine...

It costs 1,200 per sheet dito sa shop nearest to me. 1200 for each of the doors = 4800, labor fee included. Mahal sya, yes, pero I saw na parang double layer ang ginawang installation (inner and outer parts of the door), so I guess that justifies the cost.

Have her read the user manual, as that tiny book is a treasure-trove of incredibly useful Wigo information. She won't need to consult other people on basic stuff like what tire pressure to use, recommended oil viscosity, and even how to replace the cabin filter herself.

If she wants to keep the car running smoothly, regular oil changes and maintenance is paramount. If you take care of the car, it'll take care of you.

That is expensive, sound deadening AcousticPad costs 250-300 per sheet. So if they use 4 sheets that is 1200. So labor is around 3.6k more than double the materials. That's why I did DIY, just bought the sheets and installed it myself took 4 hours with yosi break and rest in between.

does it work, po? is traffic noise effectively reduced on the inside?

those thin and light aluminum-faced sheets are sound-deadening ?? they look like poorly designed echo-reducers or heat reflectors...?
i thought real sound-deadening material is expensive and heavy (it has to be, for it to be truly effective). and my concern would be its effect on the vehicle. it would be like having an extra smaller passenger at all times..

but perhaps i am living in the past... back when sound deadeners were the thickness and consistency of shoe sole material..
    heh heh.

    my apologies..

Yup it work. Those are not thin and light . Road noise is cut down much more if you put it in the floor board, firewall and wheel well area. The transformation of your car NVH will impress you. Also when you close the door it feels solid, like a expensive auto. The sound of your music, will feel solid and rich, even if you use the stock speakers you can determine it sound nicer, but I advise to buy an aftermarket speakers.

The silver ones are there to provide heat insulation it helps your A/C and better insulates your car.

And you are right if you decide to put on a sound deadening such as the one I install (doors and floorboards, etc) , sound AcousticPad, it does weigh about 25-35kg. That's why I put it on a SUV. But there are also lightweight sound deadening material such as dynamat, these are the ones used by overhauling, fast n loud, but they are much more expensive. You can also opt to put it on your doors only, it will still cut down the road noise.

Yes, well, that is the price for laziness, I suppose. Good for you; I myself don't have the time for it.

I only had the doors installed with the material, so the only noticeable difference is that the speakers sound better. "Mas buo ang tunog", to be exact. May slight noise reduction, pero maingay parin para sakin, so I'm planning to have the firewall, the floors and the wheel wells done next. I'm still looking for a shop that can do this for me; I'd have this done by the casa if they offer such service, but I already asked and they don't.

No, I don't think so. Besides, if you were to ask your SA they'll say they already did the break-in. The user manual indicates that you shouldn't go over 80kph for as long as the car hasn't reached the 1000km mark. I totally forgot this, by the way, and drove the car up to 110kph along Skyway on it's first week with me hehehe

Anyway, I suggest hard break-ins. Floor it, I mean, under safe conditions and within your limits. I've heard tales of cars taking foreverrrr to get to 100kph because their owners baby-ed them.

So, it's OK na while doing engine break-in, kailangan kong i-drive yung Wigo at maximum 100-110 kph? BTW, ako muna ang magmamaneho ng Wigo ng friend ko hanggang confidently (with a heart, lol :bwahaha kaya nang magdrive yung friend ko.
