    De-tuned perhaps for longevity/reliability?

Dalawa version ng engine. I think europe gets the weaker one. Yun na din ba ang sa atin? Mid east units get the more powerful version along with Oz?

Mmmm , Leopaul . There was 2 major mechanical changes. The 4.5 TD V8 , was updated an now have 192 kw and 650 Nm. against the prvious 178 kw. and 615 Nm. Then the 4.7 vvti petrol engine was replaced by a 4.6l 1UR-FE engine (Lexus sorced )

As far as I know, there's still no Diesel option to the Patrol Royale, so FC is too high.

The LC200 has an edge because of it's diesel engine which the local market prefers. With the sheer number of units sold and seen on the street, spare parts importation by 3rd party suppliers also becomes viable later on.

The Patrol Royale also sold locally has a gas engine and its isn't the TOTL gas engine that's raved about during the international media launch (local models come with the guzzler engine that was sold in the Nissan Armada).

Interior wise, Patrol Royale is better. But the engine is a major turnoff. They should have put the 3L diesel of the Navarra in it.
