Recently bought a 2nd hand 2005 camry 2.4v for the family. I must say overall its really a good car. Expected ko na fuel consumption for a midsize sedan nasa 5km/liter paranaque/makati. Just want to ask fellow camry owners along the south, is there a good shop with a good camry mechanic on board? Yung tipong makita lang yung camry mo eh familiar na siya talaga with whats wrong...sa casa kasi medyo iba yung price having problems with the idling din kasi, medyo mababa siya ng konti so may vibration when at full stop...also my power seats sa likod medyo nadeform ng konti yung seat when i had lowering springs installed...medyo natukuran ata yung seat ng wrench so now yung left rear seat ko may konti space na sa likod ...does seatmate fix deformed seats....hoping to meet fellow camry owners here or camry fanatics

Low rpm tune up lang. New plugs oil air cleaner. Clean throttle body using tb spray.

If you replaced your battery the tb should be cleaned or rev the engine. Eventually it will learn the right idle. But better have the tb cleaned muna

+1 on TB cleaning. usual problem yan sa vvti engine and usually goes away after TB cleaning and MAF sensor cleaning.

seatmate reupholsters seats so i bet they can fix deformed seats. you may want to bring it to their mandaluyong shop sincr their skilled workers are all there

Not in Paranaque but the 2005 2.4 V of my family gets repaired at Speedy Fix. They're not the cheapest compared to other "talyers" but they got the job done nice and clean, allow owners parts to be brought in, and are still definitely cheaper than the Toyota CASA.

I highly recommend Pronto along West service road (between Sucat and Alabang).
Ok din kay Shaggy/Autotech along Singalong/near Quirino Ave. kung periodic maintenance lang papagawa mo. Toyota specialist si Shaggy and he can help you troubleshoot any problem you have, especially if engine related. Unfortunately he does not accept major engine repairs because his forte is engine swapping. Sayang lang daw oras nya sa pag kalas-kalas ng pyesa ng engine. Easier to swap with another engine hehe.

Well if you can look beyond that fact then you can probably drop by and see for yourself. Their set-up is very professional, service personnel are very accommodating, and when you talk to their mechanics you know na may K sila. Look for Roland if you ever drop-by, pa troubleshoot ka lang. No charge naman eh.
