Hopefully others will follow.
Good news too as Hitachi will be expanding its hard drive production business dito (shifting from their Argentinian production to the Philippines)

Pag hiyang ang isang company dito sa atin, they will expand.
Obviously, TI is hiyang. Pero Japan gets a lion's share of TI's investments in Asia.

yup mukang telecoms electronics are the next big thing ...
papasok na ata yun mga clone phones like clone-PCs eh. Nokia, SE will be just like Dell, HP or Lenovo, mahal na branded.
gulat ako talaga sa pinre-sent sa'kin kanina na multimedia phone from China, lahat kaya gawin pda, ipod, video, memory card, touch screen. SRP 10k pero volume eh mababaan pa.
imagine pag naging mainstream 'to, multimedia clone phones priced at 6k each tapos entry level lang yun ng nokia. and like the Philippines that we are, mag-click siguro ito all-in-one china made phones katulad ng success ng clone PC's.

Another update...
The government is now in talks with a group of Jap & Korean investors who have expressed interest in pouring in another $1B in investments in Baguio.
The only problem is that Baguio doesn't have space... the only viable solution is to convert the underutilized airport to an economic zone.Last edited by mazdamazda; May 11th, 2007 at 10:42 AM. Reason: grammar
