To provide canopy for the NLEX motorists?

Kidding aside, yes you have a point.

That's double the effort plus imagine the traffic if ever it gets into construction stage.

Imagine Slex traffic now because of the Skyway construction.

Because you will have Right-of-Way problems doing a parallel track. Imagine spending billions having to buy land all the way to Tarlac from Edsa QC. The middle track is empty and ready to be used at almost no cost land-wise.

Think like a businessman. Manny P. most likey saw the beauty of the middle track even before they bought the SLEX project.

Nope, dumadami naman ang mga Pinoy by 2,000,000 a year. By the time construction ends may extra 10,000,000 potential customers na!

Ganun mag-isip si Manny P. Math Whiz yun.

This bullet train IMO will remain a pipe dream for now.

and if this really go beyond planning... don't forget those pesky SQUATTERS that seem to populate train tracks.

and if it does not... I agree with the others to just help fix our existing train system. We need to be practical at this point.

Diversified conglomerate San Miguel Corp. may end buying 100 percent Australia’s Indophil Resources NL, depending on the results of the due diligence set to be completed January next year.

“If the due diligence is good, we will buy 100 percent of Indophil,” San Miguel president Ramon Ang said in an interview with reporters.
