I hope everyone is safe after the big flood that happened yesterday. I believe everyone can watch abs cbn with their live coverage of this event. They are extending their help via donations , helicopter help etc. The tel. nos. are not being shown on tv yet. you can call on Mis. Tina Monzon Palma, Chris Aquino at abs cbn.
People should also learn how to take care of public facilities in order to preserve its service. Dami minsan nating kababayan, instead they do vandalize and create stupid actions that make these public transportation look crappy prematurely.
Disiplina lang talaga kelangan natin. Let us be proud of what the government is doing in rehabilitating this public transport - in the end tayo rin makikinabang .![]()
Magandang Araw sa lahat,
Ang mga DMU's ba gagamitin din sa norte? Ano pala ang progress ng Caloocan to Malolos route. What we see only, anywhere on the internet are just the southbound. How about the Northbound. Baka may mga kaibigan tayo sa norte na puweding picturan para alam ng gobyerno na may nagbabantay. Ok lang kung mabagal ang usad ng improvement.

Is there a tsunami warning in the eastern side of the Philippines. There was an announcement of an earthquake in the pacific ocean , in the Samoan area. it could be far from the Phil. but there is a warning here in California. Good luck mga kabayan. Be safe .
Bicol route is slowly being rehabilitated especially the rail tracks and bridges.
ilang oras kaya ang Manila to Bicol by train? Up to Naga lang ba yung station? BTW, ito ba yung may restaurant sa loob na klase ng train?
So far, baka Quezon-Albay muna, then Manila Bicol...around 6-8 hours I think...not sure...
Most likely, with air-condition and perhaps ganyan klase ng train...eto yung gagamitin sa Quezon-Bicol then finally Manila-Bicol route..

So when will the old trains be phased out? I saw the PNR trains running twice in the last month and both times it was the old cars and old engine.
The PNR is still rehabilitating the Tutuban-Alabang route. Wooden are replaced by concrete tiles. Bicol Line from Quezon-Albay is undergoing rehab. There are now 6 brand new diesel trains, 1 refurbished loco and 1 set of refurbished coaches. But there is a plan either to replace the trains (the old Japanese Commex trains of the PNR with new ones or just fully refurbish them.

Another accident in the tracks (saw it on TV)... I guess the rehab can be considered completed when there are no longer any squatters along the tracks.
